Couldn't have had a better experience. Great location, room was perfect, free breakfast, the rooftop bar was nice, and reasonable price for the stay. Also having the attached garage was convenient. I'd definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown while attending a multi-day convention, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected from a Marriott property. From the first night, the air conditioning in my room seemed to stop cooling for extended periods, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. I hoped it was a one-time issue, but it continued every night of my stay. Each morning, I attempted to enjoy breakfast, but the dining area was so hot and humid that it was nearly unbearable. The stifling atmosphere even made me feel nauseous at times. Hoping for a better experience in the evening, I tried dining onsite for dinner, only to find it just as hot, humid, and uncomfortable as breakfast. I brought these concerns to the attention of a staff member at checkout, only to be met with a dismissive response: “It’s just an unseasonably hot time, nothing we can do.” This lack of accountability and empathy was extremely disappointing. I expected more from Marriott — both in terms of comfort and customer service. So far, there has been no follow-up or acknowledgment of my poor experience, which only adds to my frustration. I sincerely hope this feedback prompts Marriott to take steps to improve both guest comfort and the way concerns are handled.

Clean quiet and next to the convention center, what I dislike was the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work also the shower was hard to work properly, everything else was wonderful

Large rooms with a kitchenette and comfortable living room. The AC worked great and the hotel was quiet. There is no room service but the 10th floor bar and restaurant had good options. Breakfast is limited but had the basics to start the day. Walking distance to many downtown restaurants. Overall a good choice for business or leisure travel.

Nice Downtown Raleigh Hotel
Great location for downtown Raleigh events. Lots of fun things that are walkable distance and others a short drive. Nice room and great rooftop bar/restaurant. Perfect location if going to a show at Martin Marietta Center or Red Hat Amphitheater.
