The state of lodging at this establishment is sub-par. I wouldn't suggest anyone to stay. Some staff were friendly (Geraldine & Nick), but there was one particular woman (regrettably her name is not coming to me as I write this review) was cold and distant. TBH, staying at this establishment gave me a very bad vibe & not excited about ever returning to St. Vincent. This is bad.

I don’t know where to begin, when they say you get what you pay for BELIEVE IT!! Let’s begin, we decided to take a short all girls trip, upon arrival there was no one at the front desk, we waited less than a minute a young lady name Zanilla approached the front, we didn’t receive any warm welcome, no smile, no nothing most resort offer to help with your bags well we received nothing, we were escorted to the room and OMG what a dump, the room had no character at all, the towels were hard , the sliding doors in room did not close nor lock, no hot water, bathroom cracks were extremely profound, we asked for cups so we could heat up some water there was a issue with providing cups, we asked for ice was told it’s limited, asking for TOILET paper seemed to have been an issue smh, most of the staff gave off the perception we were very much not welcomed , with exception for Geraldine the lady at the front desk and Nick whom was security at night were THE ONLY TWO who offered great service and made us feel some what welcomed. I normally don’t write reviews but felt I had to share this experience. If your looking for a run down resort stay there, if your looking for anything out dated stay there if your ok with not feeling welcome there stay there, Point Bay Resort should be named Point Bay Inn or Motel, I travel quite often and the place by far was extremely disappointing. Our room was 202

This property from the website looks good and welcomimg. Upon arrival to the location, the receptionist was very friendly, I forgot her name. I went to my room and was totally disappointed, along with the property after walking around it. The pool looks like a small bathtub, the room smells, no safe in the room, couldn't lock the balcony sliding door, there was a small cafe for breakfast, very limited food choices. Only one restaurant/bar, my family and I wasn't impressed by it. The view of the ocean was nice. The place is old and needs to be really updated to be called a resort. We left a day earlier.

Travelled with twelve family members , we were using this hotel as a base to visit family living in St vincent . This hotel was chosen as some of us visited last year and cosidered it good value and a lovely hotel. first thing we discovered when returning was that Hurricane beryl had caused havac with the ground floor ocean view rooms where we were located and you could no longer access the beach from the rooms. Despite this we all had a great time . We were room only so ate at various places in SVG and also at family homes, we did have a couple of meals in the restaurant which were very nice and plentiful and they had an extensive menu. Next door is a restaurant called Four Shells which provided authentic inexpensive carribean meals and would highly recommend you try it if you are staying in the area. Absolutely loved the swimming pool the water was always warm and when you got in you did not want to get out. Although there is not a designated place for breakfast you could order various rolls pastries and bagels coffee etc and sit out on the ocean front to eat. No visit to SVG would be complete without visiting neighbouring island Bequai lovely beaches and restaurants you can purchase your tickets on the ferry and crossing is around 45 minutes. everybody agreed that this was a great hotel in a great location and we would return

The best thing is the sea view and the couch on the balcony. Very peaceful, quiet accommodation, good value for money.
