Natalie is a gracious host and runs a charming bed and breakfast in a large historic house close to the centre of Arles. All the main sites are within walking distance. Our room was a good size and the bathroom was well appointed. We had the luxury of an outside balcony area. There is a garden which must be nice in warmer times. Breakfast is taken outside or in the breakfast room where guests gather around a large table. The buffet is huge. There are generous sitting areas outside the rooms and some interesting artwork. We much enjoyed our stay. Natalie has two large dogs but they were impeccably behaved and no problem. Private parking is available. The house is close to a main road but surprisingly quiet. Recommended.

Saisonende in einer Stadt voller Geschiche. Ruhig war‘s, ohne Touristenströme. Bei Nathalie im Maison Douce fühlten wir vom erstem Kontakt bis zum Abschied wunderbar aufgehoben. Stilvolle Einrichtung, grossartiges Frühstück an einem grossen Tisch, vereint mit allen Gästen. Wir kommen wieder.

We loved out stay at Maison Douce Arles. We stayed two nights as part of a trip from southern Burgundy to Bandol. Our hostess, Nathalie, was so friendly and accomodating. We loved chatting with her during breakfast, learning more about the area and her very interesting and impressive life. We had a lovely breakfast with freshly baked breads, meats/cheeses/ jams/jellies, eggs. The room was so spacious and absolutely beautiful. There is on-site parking secured by a gate. We were able to walk to all of the major sites (Roman ruins, Van Gogh sites) in minutes. There is an Irish pub right next door, in case you need a break from all the (delicious) French foods, and all sorts of other cuisines available nearby.

Hotel stupendo, mi sono fermata solo una notte, ma pur essendo sopra un incrocio, nelle stanze non senti nulla, Molto puliti bagni e stanza, eliminerei il tappeto a fondo letto e qualche orpello. Buona la colazione con il caffe' alla francese.

Beautiful Maison with very comfortable rooms. The house is perfectly located for all amenities & beautifully furnished. We paid for the private parking which was perfect. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The room had all we needed with a massive, very comfortable bed. The air con was essential at this time of year.

Una vacanza in Provenza e dopo essere stati a ils sue là sourge che vi consigliamo siamo venuti qui ad arles da Nathalie una padrona di casa molto cortese che vi aiuta se avete bisogno e che non guasta parla anche l’italiano.Ci ha fatto anche un upgrade dandoci x due gg una stanza più grande che noi non avevamo opzionato ,colazione in terrazzo fra piante e pace e brusio del centro storico .Venite da maison Douce

Nel titolo credo di aver espresso la soddisfazione e la gioia di aver potuto soggiornare in una realtà così speciale, direi unica. Tutto molto curato ed interessante. Pulizia ed eleganza al massimo livello. La colazione davvero ricca di genuinità, varia, originale, dolci locali, prelibatezze della bellissima cittadina di Arles e dei suoi rilassanti dintorni. Tutto veramente speciale. Un grazie di cuore a Sylvie, meravigliosa padrona di casa. Ma Villa non è un hotel, è un palazzo di proprietà, dell’’800, ubicato in piena Arles, lungo il viale alberato che la circonda, dove il sabato si svolge il noto mercato, ricco di ogni bene di terra e di mare. Piacevolissimo! Il centro città si raggiunge in un minuto a piedi: basta attraversare la strada! La presenza di un parcheggio privato è il massimo!

Ottimo indirizzo per Arles. Con parcheggio, ai bordi del centro storico, camere arredate con grande stile e colazione tra le migliori mai provate. Ottima insonorizzazione, letti molto grandi e comodi. Solo 4 camere, ma per la colazione sala piccola e quindi si fa in due turni (petit bemol come dicono i francesi).

Die Unterkunft ist in einer sehr edlen Villa mit Geschichte. Die Einrichtung ist perfekt. Das Licht ist in jedem Raum eine Augenweide. Kompliment an die Gastgeberin. Die Villa liegt mitten im Zentrum, ist jedoch dort ein geschützter Raum. Parken im Innenhof mit Anmeldung (gegen Gebühr). Zimmer mit allen Komfort und hervorragenden Bett. Kommunikation mit Gastgeberin Sylvie ist liebevoll und informativ in französisch und englisch über Stadt, Kultur, Geschichte und folglich Tips. Das Frühstück ist ausgesucht lokal geprägt und sehr lecker. Jederzeit eine Empfehlung wert.
