Arles Hotels with Gym

We stayed here 4 nights in April/May 2023. The rooms were pleasant, the location was good, and all the staff were friendly. I would definitely stay here again. We did not use the pool, but did try the onsite restaurant one night, and it was good. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station and right next to the office of tourism.

The breakfast is not good, the room is a bit small, but the staff is very good. The parking lot is charged, the price is reasonable, it is convenient to walk next to it, it is close to Republic Square, and the small bar next to it is very comfortable to sit in

For business people who meet for a small conference right next to the highway, not a bad place. It's in the middle of a commercial area, with Lidl and Intermarchais right next to it. Burger King, McDonald's, etc. are also nearby. Bus parking available, so tour groups who just need a place for the night might find this hotel convenient. Lobby is fairly small, but they have a lounge nearby. Breakfast area was nice, and outside there is a pool, and a garden setting. Good breakfast, warm and cold items. Staff could barely speak English, very overworked, and abrupt. Rooms are very small, you hardly can move. However, our bathroom had a tub, very nice. No fridge, microwave, or phone in the room, not to talk of an ironing board and iron. We were dropped off by our bus, and so faced ca. 25 minutes walk to the old town. Not pleasant at all. But a good bed, there is NO noise from the outside or the freeway, amazing. The area is really ugly.

We stayed one night at this property before going on a river cruise. We arrived before check in time but the hotel owner was there and arranged to get our room ready for us. When she saw the size of our luggage, she upgraded us to a larger room. The room was still pretty small, but it's an historic building so that's to be expected. It was very comfortable, safe and quiet and met all our needs. The decor was very pretty. The restaurant was very good, with many of the foods made in their own kitchen. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy which was a big bonus for us. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, with a glass of wine, watching all the activity on the street. The location is perfect. A short and easy walk from the train station. And right inside the walls of the Old Town. Lots of quaint historic streets to stroll. The staff made this the perfect hotel for us. The owner was there much of the time. The desk staff and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. They were all very patient with my attempts to speak French, but they were all much more bilingual than me. Being understood wasn't a problem. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

We at a great two nights at Le Calendal Hotel. We travelled as an extended family and took three rooms. The hotel managed to get them side by side. The level and quality of service were of a good level for a three stars hotel, and the swimming pool is definitely a big plus for this property. The hotel is located near a public car park which makes the access very convenient. It is also only a short walk from Roussilon village main square. The in-house restaurant is located in their private garden and looks of a higher standing than most around them. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a table as it was fully booked. A further tale tail that it must be good. Overall it is a good value for money.
