Hotel Princesa Parc

Good staff, but, 4 star accommodation and a 3 star experience. I first came to this hotel in 2012. Since then the hotel has started allowing people with a lower caliber and younger people stay here, people who lack self awareness and manners. Noise.... Loud talking, shouting from drunk guests late at night, for example 12am Sunday night. Rooms poorly soundproofed at door threshold, easy to fix. Upon arrival, No statement is given to guests regarding when quiet times are (e.g. 11pm to 6am). Spa rules state ”no shouting”, a spa experience is supposed to be calm and relaxing. Instead we shared the spa with 4 loud testosterone filled males in their 20s who were excited like they were at a water park, shouting, running, jumping and giggling like teenagers. A bus load of people arrived and completely blocked the reception, with 1 hotel entrance door not working. Staff doing well, but overun and needed more staff. Jacuzzi (15 euro per hour) in a state of disrepair, cut foot on a loose piece of sharp stainless steel. Waiting to hear about that one. Nice friendly staff and nice room, but focus of hotel is making maximum profit, at the expense of guests. Not recommended for couples anymore in my opinion, more of a family or school trip hotel. Massage 150euro for 2 people, 50 minutes. Massage was too weak and a waste of time and money. In a Massage they will usually ask you if the pressure is too soft or too hard, about 5 minutes in. Not the case here. There is a private proffesional massage business 5 mins down the road if you can book a week or two in advance (1 employee). Good rooms, good staff, good location. Poor spa condition, clientel and parking. Park for free in arinsal centre. The hotel would like you to pay at least 12 euros per day, even if you have already paid £165 for a night...
Hotel Princesa Parc Excellence

We stayed at an alternative hotel but were told by locals of the day passes available for Princesa Parc spa. We visited after a day of skiing and paid £18pp for the spa. This didn’t have a time limit but we went in the early evening and it shut at 9pm. The spa facilities were perfect, multiple steam rooms, two saunas, a pool with jets and bubbles and an extra hot pool (I loved). Also an ice pool bit to walk through (shallow) and an ice bucket. Towels included in price. We didn’t get any treatments but looked at the menu for this, varied in price.
