When I say the location isn't great, I mean it isn't convenient for the shops as it is about 3 miles from the nearest decent-sized town (Mold), but if you want to stay here as an entry point into N Wales then it is fine. Friendly chatty and helpful receptionists, no elevator (or help) but only one flight of steps. Not exactly room with a view but it was clean and comfortable. A good-sized bathroom always helps. Breakfast was suprisingly good.

What a brilliant night the school out bingo was. The food was amazing as it always is, service was brilliant a d as for the entertainment could not fault anything cant wait to return again.

Went to the Bingo and Disco night last night and wow what can I say the whole night was fantastic. We got a two course meal which was delicious, followed by an eventful night of bingo and music with a twist. Everybody was up dancing and taking part. Even the staff joined in at one point as judges. Will definitely book a group of us again if you have this event on in the future.

we have a group of 7 ladies that like to go out once a month so we decided to book the crazy bingo at the hotel . where do I start Absolutely amazing from the warm welcome from Ted to the service of the food roast chicken veg and potatoes with cheesecake to finish as normal the food was excellent . then on to the bingo top hat and heels were amazing never laughed never danced so much I honestly cannot wait for the next one

Stayed one night on a coach tour, first impressions good. Externally hotel looks well designed and in good order our double room was very tired and outdated. Clean but one night was enough. Very average dinner served, nothing to get exited about. Staff carried out their duties efficiently and well. Would not want to stay here again.

The receptionist was very accommodating when we checked in. She allowed my parents to change rooms as their initial one was a little far away from reception and they both have mobility issues. Our room was very much a throwback from the 80's and in dire need of a full refurbishment, as was my parent's room. It is very evident that this hotel is privately owned and dependant on coach trips to maintain a good turnover. We ate in the bar once and the food was very average. Menus were presented on a scrappy piece of A4 paper and the furniture left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was presented well and the sausage was particularly good. However, at what point is it okay for the staff and the manager to come in and help themselves to breakfast before service has finished? The staff are this hotel's main asset as they are welcoming and helpful however it appears that there is no attention paid to detail and investment is not being made in the building or it's staff. Unfortunately our stay was disappointing and we would not return but I suppose you get what you pay for.

This hotel should be great The information pack is complete lies No sandwiches at all after averting 24hrs. Drinks from room service was useless. This hotel needs a manager who knows what’s going on. Clearly they have no idea You would think the staff are there to do you a favour. Rather than helping people who have had to stay in this hotel . Another example of hospitality gone wrong

Stayed for to nights for a family birthday in mold. Unfortunately I did not feel what I was charged reflected what I found ,the room need updating and was looking tired. it had a poor hospitality tray ( IE one pkt of biscuits between to of us) .The shower had very poor pressure and the bath room door stop only allowed the door to open half way which I and my wife kept bumping in to.the food was good and staff very friendly but at £120 a night i found it not good value .
