Great breakfast buffet. They have the tastiest menu ever. Room was spacious and clean. Their CR is a bit dangerous, super slippery.but overall, great water pressure. With hot and cold shower. Overall, all good!

The cabins are prefabricated structures attached to a metal frame, providing very little sound insulation. Due to this, you’ll likely hear noises from neighbouring rooms, especially if there are young children staying nearby. Your ability to get a restful night’s sleep largely depends on the activity levels of those around you

Very Good

The place is very big. A long way from the reception desk to the blocks of rooms. There's an electric shuttle providing rides. But no phones in rooms, so you can't call it when you need a ride from your room. You can't order a meal unless you go to the restaurant yourself.
The infinity pool is very good. There's no beach - just a narrow strip of sand beyond the high promenade. The sea is dead - no snorkeling. If you go half a mile of shore by downtown Argao - it's sewers.
The place is good for family events.
No hiking around but you can enjoy the ambience of the old downtown.
No refrigerators in rooms. There's 'corcage fee' in the rules. No food, no drinks from outside allowed. Actually, no one cares what you bring. This rule must be only an excuse for the absence of fridges.
Too pricy, to my mind.

We recommend Maayo Argao for it's best service to there guest and for standing out in giving us a wonderful experience and a service above expectations during the booked event for my cousin's wedding and as well us helping us celebrate the engagement of my other cousin...The place was also good for a place to stay on for a vacation with family or friends it is near the beach and has its own pool if you want to enjoy swimming the place has a very nice landscaping and is nice to take photos and enjoy the view. The villa where I book for my cousin's to stay is well cleaned and the amenities are always replenished they indeed have a great stay while here in Argao thank you to the staffs who great us and welcomed us warmly this is not our first time booking with maayo Argao and more we'll be booking more in the future.

Beautiful property with attentive and hospitable staff. Was here for a conference and the venue was fantastic. The Maayo also has a wonderful rooftop pool and bar that you don’t want to miss. I was a big fan of the tree architecture in the main lobby.

Maayo Argao is a true gem! The staff is so friendly, the food was very impressive and the grounds are immaculetly kept. The settings is one of the prettiest, I've seen, situated right on the sea with dramatic architecture. It is a peaceful excape just a few hours away from Cebu City.

If you would like a good photo for IG or FB, this is the place for you. I would not describe this place is a resort. This place would be better described as a hotel located within a private gated community. Upon check-in, no one showed us around the area or described anything to us about the grounds. It was apparent that the community around us was separate from the resort. The resort is actually a very small plot of land adjacent to the coast line, which is not Sandy. Only accessible in evening tides. The public beach itself is brown and only a small area. The pool is very nice and picturesque. The grounds has a unique architecture. What is the need of repair and painting. It was a long walk from the so-called resort area to our Barricks. Security is kind enough to take us on the golf cart to our rooms. The energy of the place is that of an old military base and the rooms are located in a military style barracks. It’s like a craft hotel. The rooms have no storage or dresser drawers for your clothing or anywhere to hang anything. The bathroom is cramped and small and believe it or not to receive a blanket do you have to pay an extra 200 pesos per night. The shower was equipped with a hot water heater, which worked well, and the queen size bed was big enough. The air conditioner was cold and noisy but the lack of a blanket made it uncomfortable. The television who is equipped with many channels, however the reception was poor. There is no bar on site however, they can make alcoholic beverages upon request in the dining area of the resort. Across the street from the barracks rooms is a café that is only open during the morning for breakfast. We had breakfast included, which consisted of only one egg, small pieces of bacon, three pieces of toast, some lettuce, and coffee. There was no Buffet. We booked for four nights but could only tolerate it for one night. I only recommend this is a short term stay no more than one night as there’s boring and there’s nothing here to do and no activities. The restaurant menu is limited as well. In conclusion, I would classify this place as a hotel. I would not call it a resort. It’s a place where you can post special events with a nice view.

Bummer experience. They have this atrocious policy of charging guests for ice if you want it brought to your room. Their resto is not near, and the fact that they provide shuttle service for the route speaks for the distance. And our room is on the third floor! Charge is just Php50 and easily affordable but its the policy of making guests suffer for the distance between the rooms and their resto that is galling. If quality customer service is primary to them, they should even go out of their way to make up for the inconvenience of guests caused by the distance between the rooms and their facilities. Worse, nobody told us about the charge. I could just have bought stuff at the convenience store when we went out for dinner but Reception specifically told us that ice is available, and no charge. Doesn't speak well of a place which is supposedly top notch in this area 😠

Very nice Mediterranean architecture. Got the villa as we were a group of 6. Very nice and huge bathroom at the master's bedroom. The villa is very close to the pool and dining area. Came with individual breakfast, that is good Pinoy food and serving is generous. Hotel personnel/crew are very courteous and attentive. Will definitely go back. Con: The step in the bathroom is not safe. Better to install a colored tile or marking for a noticeable level transition.
