Séjour d’une nuit pour un week-end de ski à La Pierre Saint Martin. Accueil chaleureux. Chambre calme, spacieuse, bien rénovée et propre. Literie parfaite. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux. Café excellent ! Nous reviendrons.

Très bon séjour à l'hôtel de l'Ours, idéalement placé pour découvrir la vallée du Barétous et ses environs. Propriétaires sympathiques et accueillants. Chambre confortable et petit-déjeuner copieux. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Nous reviendrons!

Good communications by telephone and email to obtain information and make booking. Friendly welcome by the young owners. Very comfortable large bed in the room we booked, with balcony looking onto pleasant garden and hills. Room and shower room were immaculately clean. Wifi worked well for us. I think they have a different livebox for each floor. No lift but there are only two floors, and the staircase is wide. Excellent breakfast. Hotel restaurant was shut because our stay was in between the winter and summer seasons but the Gouaillardeu bar/restaurant is very close with a great menu of classic local dishes, open fireplace, busy with locals even on a Sunday evening. We had lunch there with friends and came back for something lighter in the evening.

Suite changement de propriétaire l hotel ne fait plus manger or nous n avons pas été prévenus (sur notre réservation il était bien écrit menu a 19 euros) nous avons poireauté 1h30 avant que les patrons ouvrent ...accueil désagréable...chambre une étuve..le rideau de douche marron de crasse en bas..le ptit dej a 9 euros est industriel café tres mauvais gâteau qui sort de l emballage du supermarché.. plateau dej de dimension digne de la cantine des gosses..le seul restau du village est à la vente et on ne mange plus a l hotelde l ours...accueil deplorable du patron qui ne pense qu a votre carte bancaire. Le village est mort rien à y faire passez vite votre chemin

Très belle hôtel situé dans un joli village où il y a tout les commodités à 500 m à la ronde, la literie est parfaite et le petit-déjeuner est complet, les tenanciers sont d'une très grande gentillesse et très à l'écoute , nous avons passé un séjour formidable, nous y retournerons .

Je fais beaucoup de vélo et l'hôtel de l'Ours était devenu une institution pour le monde du cyclisme, autant par l'accueil, l'aide, les informations et l'intérêt que portait Nicolas et Cécile pour ce sport. Aujourd'hui le nouveau patron se déplace en trotinette électrique dans le village et préfère les sports motorisés que le vélo. C'est triste. Je suis passé 9 fois cet été a Arette en vélo, le restaurant était toujours fermé, le bar aussi alors que c'était le rassemblement des cyclistes de toute la vallée, on y croisait des voyageurs du monde entier, des pros, des retraités, des cyclo touristes, des groupes d'amateurs, ils ne font plus les stages d'entraînements, ni les rencontres, ils n'organisent plus les traversées des Pyrénées avec les groupes d'étrangers, ils ne parlent pas Espagnol ni Anglais, il faut se rabattre a Larrau où aller plus loin en vallée d'Ossau pour trouver un logement intéressant pour les cyclistes. Ça va manquer c'est certains. J'y ai dormi la dernière fois fin juin, et depuis j'y suis passé 8 autres fois et c'était tout le temps fermés.

Partis d'Espelette, ce 11 septembre 2022, nous arrivons à l'Hôtel de l'Ours à Arette, vers 18h30. Emplacement excellent au centre du village. Accueil très chaleureux de la part des nouveaux propriétaires. Une terrasse ombragée nous tend les bras pour prendre l'apéritif. Mais allons d'abord poser nos bagages. Deuxième étage face à la montagne. Chambre 14, spacieuse avec un immense lit double à priori 200 x 200. Super salle de bain et balcon. Je recommande vivement.

Je dirais plutot chambre à louer et non hotel. Pas de service en chambre. Au petit dejeuner, (9E / pers), pas de croissant, gateau industriel et baguette; personne pour le service, par contre le propriétaire est sur les starting block pour vous réprimander si vous ne debarasser pas votre plateau. Hotel ou Location, toute la nuance est là. Pour le soir je recommande le retaurant juste en face, style contemporain avec une ambiance tres agreable. Pour le ski, l'Ours estTrop loin des pistes.
