Attenzione!! Possibilità di venire truffati!!! Dopo aver prenotato tramite Booking in questo Hostal Bubamara, una volta arrivati lì, non ci hanno dato la camera con la scusa di un presunto problema idraulico in tutto l'albergo, ma stranamente c'erano altri ospiti che entravano e uscivano regolarmente. Dopo averci fatto perdere diverse ore preziose, ci hanno dirottati in un'altra loro struttura, più lontana dal centro, di peggiore qualità, e pagando oltretutto lo stesso prezzo dell'altra. Una vera truffa: da evitare!!

La recepción es horrible. Casi nunca están ni abre. Sólo cobran en efectivo y, sólo si la pides, te hacen una factura muy cutre. Nos ha cobrado impuestos extra que no teníamos que pagar porque es el 18% para peruanos/as pero no el resto. Aún diciéndoselo, nos los han exigido igual. Me dejé el cargador pero cuando volví a por él media hora después del checkout, nadie abría la puerta y no pude recuperarlo. Me contestaron que me lo mandarían pero es MENTIRA, son unos ladrones. La habitación que nos dieron estaba cerca de la salida pero era muy húmeda y oscura. Nunca volveremos ahí.

Due to the political instability in the region, we ended up staying 6 nights in Hostal Bubamara. And what a lovely stay it was! The hosts are very friendly and attentive, ready to share their knowledge of Arequipa. The hostal is situated in the heart of the historical center, in an attractive ancient house. We would stay a few nights more, if we could.
