The hotel all in all is good but it is not worth taking the full board, especially because of the really bad service at the dinner. In detail: The 4 person family room is spacious and nice. Some mattresses are soft, others are worn out and not flat anymore. There were some defects which should be repaired like the towel bar and the floor. The belvedere pool is nice. The lifeguard is really friendly and helpful. The small round pool was closed even though it should be open according to website and reception. Reason: they only open it for special events!?!? Not nice. The location of the hotel is really nice with a astonishing view to Arenzano and the sea. The funiculare brings you down to the beach. But don't think the Italians were punctual. I wanted to get up after jogging and stood for closed doors 20' after theoretical opening. The breakfast was good with a variety of things from fruits to sweets. You also get different yogurts, müsli, seeds and nuts. There is only one coffee machine which lets you sometimes wait in a long queue. The lunch at the pool bar was ok. We had one plate plus one dessert included in the full board. It's good for adults, but not for kids since they are not flexible and it takes a long time. The dinner was horrible and the main reason we will not return to this hotel. None of the three evenings did we get the right thing. Maybe a table with 7 person was too complicated for them. Maybe because they had every evening different staff. The food came not at the same time, long waiting, wrong, cold, beef not at point, etc. We could never eat together. The kids plate with beef, fries and carrots came in three separate plates within 30 minutes. Really bad experience. On the last evening I had after 1.5 hours waiting only a starter. They forgot to order the second course even though we asked them to bring all together. Instead of 7 desserts came only 3. We complained and got rude answers. At the end of the stay the reception refunded us €41 (1 day beach) which is a joke compared to the frustration we had at cost of €1500 for 3 days/4 person.
