Club Hotel Aguamarina

Stayed for 4 nights. Pools and waterslides were brilliant although hard to get a sunbed unless you queue at the gates before they open or go a lot later in the day. Buffet was ok but again have to get there before it opens and queue otherwise find your self queueing waiting for people to finish and leave to be able to get a table. Night time entertainment was fantastic. So much to do. Bouncy castles, crazy golf and park to play for the kids if you dont want to sit and watch the entertainment. Beach is a steep walk down in places but well worth it when you get down there.

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at this hotel. We enjoyed it very much. The staff work really hard in all areas and there is only a few small things that I didn't enjoy. The room we had was 4 single beds which worked well for us as we have a 7 year old and a 3 year old (the 7 year old sometimes falls out of bed still). The rooms were cleaned very well each day and if towels were needed then they changed them, when left in the bath. The food was good and have a wide variety of food and drinks although sometimes the drinks machines weren't working 100% but that is understandable when serving so many people in a short time. All out meat was cooked sometimes it was just a personal opinion if needed a bit longer, but just left it if it wasn't to our taste. Lovely salad options and having the snack bar choices and pizza corner was great too as our children didn't like to leave the pool every lunch time. Pizza from the pizza corner were lovely. The beach is a short walk away and it is beautiful and our children loved it too. Even on a night time it was very beautiful and you could see the sun set to. The pool areas: the toddler pool was great and even had sun beds around most times of the day. The main pool where the entertainment was a little bit squashed and the queuing for that pool was a bit crazy but we were usually in the other pool (near block A) where my husband waited to get our sun loungers most mornings from around 8.50am/ 9am and we only done this as we had 2 young children where we needed to watch them while in the pool. He did get some people pushing past while gates opened and I do think the pool areas need to be monitored somehow as people were just putting their towels down and going to beach or out somewhere and not returning until late afternoon, which I personally think is unfair. A couple of days we appeared later on in the day and found a couple of beds away from the pool. I am one of those people who are scared and panic and flap about (even though I know I shouldn't) when a wasp comes near me and there were a lot of wasps around which isn't the hotels fault just want people to be aware. They are even in the other areas we went to not just the hotel. Also got bit a few times off mosquitos on the night time. The entertainment was extremely good both daytime and night time and the entertainment staff do a great job. We did have an issue with people standing in front of us while we tried to watch the lion king show (even with our children sitting there) but again that isn't the hotels fault that is just rude people. All in all we had a great time on our holiday and we will be returning as soon as we can.
