Minura Sur Menorca & Waterpark

Hotel spotlessly clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Could always find something to eat in restaurant although a little repetitive with some things being available everyday. Pool area sectioned off at night and not re-opened until 9.00 am which was good as it meant you didn’t have to get up at a silly hour to get a sun bed. Location a bit remote but the hotel runs a free bus service to two different local beaches. Would definitely return.

This is a great hotel for families but as a couple it wasn't for us far to many children ,the food is great and its very clean plus the staff are lovely, now some bad points ,people are putting towels on sunbeds at 6.45 ish plus they queue up at 9 when the other side of the pool opens so absolutely no chance of a bed by the pool ,there is a small pool with a few beds at the side of the hotel but the beds are not good and the brollies broken and you have to walk a good way if you need a drink ,if you are scared of wasps then this isn't a hotel for you ,i have never seen so many in and around a bar no mozzies tho ,back to the good points there is a courtsey bus to 2 beaches and a bus stop right outside the hotel for a bus to Mahon and the entertainment crew work really hard for children and adults, to summarise if you have children and want a good holiday go to this hotel or if you are a couple who want a nice quiet relaxing time go to an Adults only hotel .

Left impressed with the accomodation, the staff, the food, the pool. Not far from the local town of Punta Prima and enjoyed every moment of our holiday.

Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and the animation team were always lively and good fun. Food on offer was good for an all inclusive and had lots of choice each day. The swimming pools were good but did get busy (adjacent water park was closed during stay which may have had an impact). Older children may not be as entertained by it as there are no slides etc but the waterpark may reopen at some point. Similarly, the usual battle for sunbeds occured with almost all being taken by 8.30am. There's lots of space on the grass areas for more loungers so only feedback for hotel would be to consider this. We did manage to find some loungers by the splash pool but that whole area could do with a spruce up and wasn't fitting with the rest of the hotel - splash pool would be perfect for toddlers but needs a deep clean and lick of paint (it's also a fair walk back round to the snack bar etc). The free shuttle bus to the beaches is great although we ended up taking a walk to Punta Prima (around 30 mins walk with a 7 year old in tow). We had a premium suite and the room was always clean and tidy, plenty of room for two children to spread themselves out and the air conditioning was amazing. You'll see from other reviews, there are a lot of wasps around the bar area but they aren't as angry as the ones you'll find in the UK. Our son did get stung once but he was soon back to splashing in the pool - if you ignore the wasps, they'll ignore you.
