Apartamentos Petit Xuroy

Sadly we have just had to the leave the Petit Xuroy apartments and return home after another delightful holiday! The welcome from Michael the owner and his staff was as warm as ever and enabled us to immediately relax into holiday mode. Xavier, Luis, Tony & Adrian together with the other employees, less well known to us by name, all contribute to make our visits exactly the experience we desire from our holidays. The apartment was clean and well equipped, fans, AC and everything we require. Large fridge, medium size freezer, oven, hob and extract. Two balconies, one for the lounge diner & one for the bedroom. Cannot vouch for the tv service as we did not need or use it, but everything else including the bathroom were clean and working perfectly well. The hoopoes, nesting on the roof, together with the flycatchers and other birds were an unexpected bonus to watch. The tortoise from the adjacent scrubland was a frequent visitors, whom loved a grape or two to eat! Use of the hotel pool, the restaurant & terrace are additional benefits and the location is convenient for the "cornershop" buses and the Piccolo Mundo restaurant, overlooking Salgar! We have been visiting Alcaufar for a decade and it never fails to impress as an ideal low key, relaxing and delightful place to be. Thank you!

We stayed for 5 nights from 25th June. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our apartment (2 bedrooms ) was very spacious and beautifully clean. The beds were comfortable and so was the sofa. The shower was very hot and powerful. It took me a couple of days to locate the kettle - look at the back of the cupboard. We had a lovely view of lots of trees. For a 2 star apartment it was wonderful. I cannot commend the hotel staff highly enough.
