AluaSun Lago Park

From the minute I arrived at these apartments I was happy and felt relaxed. My first ever solo holiday since my husband passed away and I chose Cala en Bosch as we visited there on holiday for 15 years, so I knew the area. I was greeted by a cheerful young lady on reception and then given my room number and directed where to go and was given a map of the grounds. After entering my apartment my first thoughts were wow. It was a one bedroom apartment, with 2 single beds and 2 sofa beds. It was very spacious and spotlessly clean. My towels were changed daily and the bedding when I placed the card on the bed was also changed once during my stay. The beds were so comfortable i was in no rush to get up on a morning. It is in a fabulous position for the restaurants, bars, the beach, a walk into Son Xoriguer beach and even the bus stop into Ciutadella. They had night time entertainment at the poolside which I was not expecting and during the day...no sunbed wars. Plenty of beds for everyone! I had one small issue with the microwave not working and once i mentioned it to the reception, it was replaced within 20 minutes. Although I was self catering and didn't sample the breakfast, I went into the restaurant on my last day whilst waiting for the coach and the breakfast looked superb...that's a must for next time. For my first solo trip the whole experience was absolutely perfect in every way. Would I stay here again...absolutely...fingers crossed I csn get the same room as it was near reception and I felt safe being on my own. Thank you to all the staff.

The location of the hotel is great, close to the beach, water park and there are plenty of bars and restaurants around apart from that though there’s not much else to do with kids there is only one park in the actual hotel and none around that we could fine. The rooms are very backdated could be doing with a freshen up, the food is very disappointing, the snack bar pizza was probably the best thing I ate and we only ate in the restaurant 2 nights out of 7. The entertainment for kids was good but was same thing every night which is the same 5/6 songs. We as a family wouldn’t return to this hotel.

My experience was terrible. The photographs and feedback do not correspond at all to what I found when I arrived at the hotel. Old-fashioned decor, swimming pool in need of maintenance and greenish water, very basic breakfast and clearly a hotel for the elderly. But the worst situation was undoubtedly the staff. I forgot a ring in the room and realized it a few minutes after checking out. I reported this situation immediately via email, as no phone number worked, and I also highlighted where I had left the ring. I was informed that they would pass this information on to the cleaning team. When I went to pick up my bags, the team at reception had no knowledge of the situation (which is already serious) and contacted the cleaning team who said they had no knowledge of anything. This is a deplorable situation that clearly reflects a lack of consideration for the customer.

Can’t fault the location of these apartments, they were basic but had everything we could need, the food was as tasteless as you would expect from mass catering quality, but a decent selection, the drinks options at the bar were pretty poor though. We had a 2 bedroom apartment & it was a good enough size for the 3 of us but we couldn’t use our terrace/patio area as it was sheltered by trees so no sun or view of any kind. If i came back to the area, I would use this hotel/apartments again

Perfect location. As soon as you come out of the hotel there are bars and restaurants on your doorstep and a supermarket across the road. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Maid service came almost every day. It was quiet at night and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. We asked reception for some guidance on nearby resorts and bus options and they were very helpful and happy to help. We never had to queue there was always someone available 24 hours. The watermark is a 5 minute walk up the road and great bonus being free with the hotel. Although the watermark itself is dated would be good for young kids. Really enjoyed the hotel if we come back to Cala N Bosch we would 100% stay again.
