The room facilities are very good and practical. The scenery outside the balcony is very unique. The entire hotel is large, clean and tidy. The hot spring and sauna facilities are unique in this small town. The breakfast is also very rich!

The hotel is dirty and requires a renovation. The SPA is in a bad condition too, and some of the saunas are closed. I put my phone in a closet and locked it with an NFC key provided by the hotel employee, came back and my closet was open without my phone. I have also noticed while sitting before the SPA entrance and checking Find My app on another device, that anyone can just enter the SPA and the changing room without any permission, nobody cares.

Today I was in the SPA in Holiday Club Hotel, put my items and phone inside a closet and locked it with an NFC key provided by hotel's employee. After ~40 minutes I came back and my closet was open and my phone was not inside. Also I noticed that anyone without any permission can enter in changing room, I think even without any payment you can just go into SPA (I also paid almost 400 SEK "for stolen phone"), nobody is checking. When I asked for any help from hotel - they said that they can't do anything. Be careful.

A hotel with a fantastic location and great potential, but... Unfortunately, the hotel has become quite worn down. This is particularly evident in the pools, especially the outdoor pool where almost all the tiles on the edge are either damaged or missing. A good upgrade is needed here. There also seemed to be a lack of control over who entered or left the pool area, as the gate system was broken. The room we stayed in was fine. The breakfast was very basic, and there also appeared to be a lack of control over who came in to eat. There were so many people there that it seemed like the entire town had come to eat for free. Dishes, drinks, and especially cutlery were often out of stock and it was very slow to get them refilled. As the title suggests, this hotel has a lot of potential if they just invest a bit of money and time into upgrading it.

Hotel was very crowdy due to spa which seemed to be popular among families with small kids. Rooms require updates. The first room offered to us was made for four persons (reservation was for two) and the view from the window was pointing to a big garbage container just in front of the window. We asked for a change and the one we finally got (only one left) did not meet any quality standards. Please see the pics. Pets were very welcome, a big plus for that. And the price for parking was reasonable, I think it was 120 SEK per day.

It is dirty, the hole hotel. From the main door enterance, the lobby, the rooms and the lobby bar. Full of flies, first of all because they dont clean enough. Start clean and throuh the garbage both indor and outdor. The tables in the eaiting-lobby and the couches and pillows is dirty and it tak long time vefore anyone clean them. When they are cleaning it is not clean when they are finnished. Just use some water and a bit sope and dry it off quicly. The edges of the tables etc. still has a lot of spots from beers, chocklate etc. The lobby bar is cleaned from the evening before, but still it has a lot of coffee, beer/drink spots, used glasses and cups and the sink is also full of dirt and flies.

Poor standard of hotel room and lower standard of breakfast and service then we’re used to from this hotel. We have stayed here many times the last 10 years and the place has deteriorated over time. It needs a serious makeover… Good for families with kids but not if you’re without kids.
