Hotell Fjällgården Ski-in Ski-Out

Off season so we were almost alone at the hotel and on the mountain which was awesome. Super friendly staff who were so nice and welcoming. Small breakfast because of off season but had all we needed including gluten free section.

Lovely ski in ski out hotel with easy access to the slopes. We were in a quad loft room which was useful as we could store are bags in the lift as the rooms are very small. The steps to the loft are very steep too so definitely wouldn’t want to be going up and down them in the dark. There was no lift access to our floor which made taking bags up a bit difficult. We stayed half board and were very disappointed in the evening menu as there is no choice and you are offered one starter and one main with no dessert. We did swap a starter for a dessert a couple of times. And on one day we had food from the main menu which we were given a discount on as neither the starter of main were to our liking. Breakfast however was great with ample choice for everyone, the only thing is that plates for hot items need to be warm as they are cold and the food quickly goes cold on them. The apre in the afternoon is very loud and busy so be warned if this is not your thing. We definitely missed our drink and sit down when we come off the mountain as there is nowhere quiet between 3-6 for residents to sit and have a drink and a chat. The staff are great though, all very friendly, full of if advice on where to ski and helpful. Service was excellent especially Tiffany in the restaurant and the Canadian lady on reception (Louise?). We had a lovely time despite the unseasonably warm weather which made skiing a challenge

Beautifully situated next to the skilift, Bergbana, sauna, hotpod overlooking the valley - ski in/ ski out. I‘d not allow guests to walk to there rooms with their ski boots on… Otherwise great place to be!

The hotel had a nice, modern, and clean appearance and was conveniently located close to the slopes and ski lifts. However, this also meant that we had to take the small free train to get down to the city. The staff generally seemed uninterested in the guests and kept their distance as much as possible, with the exception of Tiffany and Anja, who stood out for their friendliness. At this hotel, you need to request service yourself, as no one will proactively ask if you need anything.

An amazing place with a fantastic atmosphere! The staff is not only friendly but also highly professional and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.
