It appears the managers live on the property. One would think they would maintain it better. Bathroom paint peeling. Carpet dirty. Odd chair in room had leather nearly peeled off - would not even make it as a Goodwill donation. We entered from three wide open doors - keyed but left open. Anyone could just walk into the place. Breakfast was awful. Two child type cereals. Toast with nothing to put on it - no butter, no jelly, just bread. Make your own waffles maker. Juice was not real juice. No hot chocolate. No tea. Ugh.
It appears Boarder's (Cobblestone) is expanding nationwide. Suggest they first maintain what they have.

This place is terrible we stayed and was bugged by homeless and not to mention bedbugs in the rooms there was mold on our ceiling and curtains this is a crappy place you can tell they don't care about their customers the front desk was rude and refused to refund us our money they need to be shut down the breakfast will make u gag

I reserved a room for two nights we checkin and go to our room the ac wasn’t working correctly so it was hot. Then we look at the pool dirty green not fit to swim in. On our way to our room there was a group of people looking at bugs in the hallway. Needless to stay we decided to not stay there. They wouldn’t refund our money so I lost 200.00 on a hotel I didn’t even stay in. They should put an alert that the pool isn’t running it’s the end of May why wouldn’t I think the pool was up and running. Why wouldn’t I think the ac would be working. They tell me they are working on the pool and the ac wasn’t cooling appropriately because it was hot out lol. We went to another town about 50 miles south in Texas had a great stay at another hotel. Ac worked, pool was up and running and it was clean and bug free. I will never stay at another Baymont ever again

Really enjoyed our stay here! Ramces of Front Desk was friendly and so welcoming, and the room is a relief after a long car ride. They even have a microwave and fridge for our cooler stuff. And WiFi is a breeze.

Room was clean enough but property overall was a bit grungy and rundown with deferred maintenance evident throughout. Breakfast was meager.

We had several issues with our room. When we first arrived we had to have our room switched because the door between ours and the adjoining room wasn’t and wouldn’t lock. The staff didn’t understand the problem and said the other room could lock theirs but I said that wouldn’t keep them from coming into my room. When my room was switched we didn’t have an adjoining room so there was no issue. However, when I first used the shower the handle fell off. There were also gnats in the sink (many gnats) and the sheets on both beds were dirty. I am overly convinced that there were not washed from the previous stay. The location was ideal but the accommodations were less than favorable.

I always book mobility or handicap accessible rooms when I'm not sure a hotel will have an elevator or not. I have some physical limitations that makes stairs very difficult. So i booked a handicap accessible room on the first floor and specified all over my booking no stairs. I even made the note on the check in information sent directly from the hotel the morning of my booking. When i arrived i found out they didnt have an elevator only stairs and had put me on the second floor. They refused to honor the room I had pre paid for or to accommodate the no stairs because I had booked through a 3rd party and not through them directly. They refused to move me to a room on the ground floor unless i paid 40 dollars more for a suite. They were completely focused on getting more money and didnt even acknowledge the reservation details as valid. It was very upsetting and frustrating. If you have any kind of mobility issues or disabilities I would call ahead of time and make sure they have you in the correct room and even then if you use a third party booking be prepared for them not to honor it or acknowledge it. On top of that everything was gross and ill kept and the bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Between the difficulty with the stairs and how awful everything was we left the next day and didn't stay for our full stay.
