Received such a warm friendly welcome upon arrival, stayed here for an overnight from London, bedroom was lovely and clean, really fluffy towels! Breakfast was delicious & a really lovely service from Nikki. Will definitely go again , thank you !

After clarifying my booking at least a month ago, I arrived at Ardingly Inn today (18/08/2024) to find it CLOSED DOWN!!! This was utterly disgusting especially given I'd travelled from London with family for a one night stay!! No notice/information on the door no answer to the doorbell, nothing. I was utterly bewildered! Bless the helpful taxi driver who drove us to three more venues and eventually we settled on the third hotel. I had tried without success ringing the Ardingly but never any answer, just constantly busy! Very Strange, frustrating! I SHALL be complaining. On the website it says the Ardingly Inn was to reopen on August 9th 2024, i made my booking over the phone in July directly with the hotel and nobody told me it was either closing or reopening!! Very strange!

Popped in with a group of friends mid way through a long bike ride and a very hot day. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Lou, in particular, was a star on the bar. She made sure we left very hydrated and we left reluctantly. Will try to revisit.

Closed establishment. I was in the cafe next door snd some overseas visitors came in and said they had booked in the pub with rooms for a week but it was closed. Cafe (which I recommend for food and staff) said it has closed suddenly with no warning, leaving people high and dry. If you have booked here, check before you go, but it looks like it is permanently closed. If you have paid, suggest you try and get a refund.

We arrived to find the Inn had closed down 3 days earlier. No notification received. Luckily we were pay on arrival. Unluckily we could find no alternative accommodation and ended up driving 2 hours home again and missing the event we were due to attend.

This place is great for an overnight stay! The team have worked really hard to make this an enjoyable stay...from drinks and food to welcoming employees. We stayed in a double room which was absolutely adequate for what we needed prior to a wedding the next day. The owner allowed us to sit I the garden in the morning after our breakfast (outside) so.we didn't have to find anything else to do. A great place, lovely looking pub and garden. Would definitely visit again if I needed...and would definitely make it my local if I lived nearby.

The whole stay from checkin to breakfast was wonderful. We had an evening meal in the bar, the food was amazing and the service was great. We had a very comfortable nights sleep and then arose to an amazing breakfast. We will definitely be returning.
