We have stayed for 2 days in July as a family of three in 1 room and that is a wonderfully located small hostel. Breakfast was really wonderful, staff are extremely friendly and ready to help. Wonderful opportunities for a walk in the area. Bathrooms are new and really good.

An amazing few days at this exceptional hotel … we were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived … the staff were professional … but truly friendly and went ‘over and above’ to ensure our needs were met … We stayed in the Arran Suite … which was very comfortable … and had fabulous views of the Loch. The food was plentiful(!) and delicious … thank you so much to everyone who made our stay so special … we are so grateful for all your hard work! Highly recommended!!! Thank you!

Perfect getaway in the most idyllic place with the most stunning views over Loch Craignish. Hotel is just perfect staff are amazing, Laura and Amanda big shout out, very helpful and so friendly. Chef, oh my god his food is out of this world, I would travel 3.5hrs just to have dinner. Rooms very comfortable with everything you need. The area is stunning with such beautiful scenery, that's just extra special to Scotland. Highly recommend and we will be returning Thank You

Saturday night: lager only, closed at 9:30pm by putting chairs on tables. No hospitality from owner. 3rd poor experience in 6 mths. Won’t be back!

We stayed 2 nights while visiting friends and were delighted we had found this gem of a hotel. We only had dinner one evening as we were visiting friends on our second evening and we had breakfast both mornings. The variety and standard of food was outstanding we had prawns, scallops and fish and all were delicious. The breakfast options were a brilliant surprise from full Scottish to Shakshuka and poached eggs -one of the best breakfasts ever. The chef is brilliant creating great dishes beautifully presented. While Amanda on front of house was so friendly helpful and efficient. We had one of the smaller rooms which was tastefully decorated and the bathroom was very modern with black Matt fittings. The bar and gardens are lovely outside spaces for a drink or food and the views across the water are spectacular. There's also lots to do in the area from walks, drives, boat rides to museums and historic sites- we can't wait to visit this hotel again and would highly recommend it !

The service, food and ambience were amazing. We had a bad experience last time, but couldn’t fault the food. The seafood cacciatore was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Staff were absolutely amazing with a nice mixture of formal and relaxed and instantly replaced the soak into the loo, rather than leave it till later. Signs of a good team spirit. Even better was the Osprey fishing in the Loch in full view of our table. She caught enough to feed us in 3 dives!! What an experience. But the food deserves a special mention.

First impressions of the dining room, bode well for a lovely meal and thus was the case. Ample portions of tender steak pie, had seasonal vegetables and a puff flaky pastry crust. Although there were many diners, the staff kept everything under control and were most hospitable. We enjoyed the meal so much; have booked for a couple of days time.
