The room is a bit old and there are some differences from the photos. The bathroom is cleaner than soft. The room is relatively small. The yard is large and quiet. The outdoor environment is okay.

After discharged from shun shine hospital stayed here for few day . Staff friendly quiet old however well maintenance. Thanks . Reception friendly.

Stayed here for work, found checking in easy, room was clean and comfortable, Had dinner in restaurant and the meal was lovely. The bed was comfortable, air cond wasn't noisy like some places I have stayed in, it kept a constant temp & was just right considering it was very cold outside :) The meal the steak was cooked perfectly with the sides to match. Overall great place to stay & will return again.

Sunshine Motel brings to mind a pleasant motel, but this was the opposite. It looked old & tired, 2 storey motel with shopping trolleys stacked in the stairwell & metal railings. There was no allocated parking for the rooms, just a park where you can & dont block anyone in. No lift, just a dark stairwell.
As soon as we ooened our room door, the smell hit us & we opened the door & window for 30 mins to try to get rid of it. I was unable to make out what it was .. tobacco & bleach or bleach masking something else unpleasant. We left the window & door open for 30 mins & that helped a bit. The double bed smelt of it so I slept on my back. There were bits of skin or scabs in the bed when I turned the sheets back & so I slept on top of the flat sheet.
The shower had good pressure. I looked for a bathroom fan but there wasnt one & I saw that the ceiling was mouldy.
I would not recommend this Motel.
The restaurant menu was a surprise & the food was really good. I would recommend the restaurant.
