We always stay at Hampton Inn where ever we go and stay at a location. This Hampton Inn is the best we have found. The room was excellent the bath was very good with a combination tub and shower. Four wall attached bottles of personal care amenities. There was a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee set up, clock and adequate storage and hangers. Plenty of towels of size needed and a bar of soap. Breakfast is a normal thing for Hampton Inn. Archdale had a little extra. Fruit and eggs, and four types of juice. Milk and coffee. WIFI is in the room, though we never end up using it, and the TV channels selection is excellent. Personnel were very good and knowledgeable, adequate parking and surprise the pool was open. (A lot of Hampton Inns have closed their pool).

Nothing to really complain about. Bathroom was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was actually really great for a hotel breakfast. Front desk was friendly and gave us a big list of places to eat when we arrived when we asked for suggestions. She also had some suggestions about where to take our kids to play for a while outside.

Overall, our stay was good. The lady at the front desk when we checked in was awesome! So friendly and helpful. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the shower would not drain and we were standing in a pool of water while showering. Also, the lobby bathroom toilet needed to be cleaned and the toilet did not flush properly. Other than those things our stay was good.

We were in for the weekend for a softball series @ the local university. The check in was easy & the front desk staff was very friendly, accommodating, & very helpful w/ local recommendations for local restaurants & such. We were traveling w/ other softball families & the hotel was extremely accommodating for us gathering in the lobby & having breakfast together in the morning. The rooms were clean & comfortable. The only minor issue was the TV lineup available, rectified w/ a Roku though, no biggie there. The hot breakfast choices were decent and everything was kept neat & fresh. The coffee was pretty good for ‘hotel coffee’, w/ a wide variety of selection for hot tea. & of course the waffle makers are a huge bonus, w/ an offering of red velvet cake batter! Everything was kept stocked. For a very reasonably priced room w/ good basic breakfast choices, you can’t go wrong. I would definitely stay here again if back in town.
