This property is a hidden gem in you want to visit the sites in the area. Much better than staying in the city as it's gorgeous, comfortable, spacious property with terrific value for dollar.

We spent one night in a large "suite" with two beds and a jacuzzi...but the jacuzzi was not working. We were offered a bottle of wine as a gesture of goodwill. The staff was very kind and did their best to accomodate us. The rooms are quite dark and a little claustrophobic (they have a cave feeling, there is no view from the windows, just walls); they are very well furnished with a modern/rustic décor. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very good, with a great shower. The location is good if one arrives in Heraklion and it is very close (15 minutes by car) to the Knossos palace. Archanes is a quaint pleasant village. Breakfast was good. A good stay but I would not class this as 5 stars hotel.

Splendido resort collocato in un grazioso paesino ove potersi rilassare mangiando e bevendo divinamente in una delle trattorie del centro. Le camere sono moderne e arredate con gusto e attenzione per i dettagli. Tutto qui sa di buono e conferisce calma e benessere a questo luogo magico sapientemente gestito da personale amichevole, sorridente e disponibilissimo. Un indirizzo prezioso in cui spero di tornare per respirare la creta autentica che ti porti nel cuore al rientro. Grazie!

An exquisitely designed property in a charming town, near Heraklion. Although it's no fault of the hotel, GPS programs insist on directing you on tiny, steep lanes to bring you to and take you from the property. Highly recommended to not rely on GPS apps. This offers small town flavor near to Heraklion with plenty of tourist sites nearby, including Knossos. Breakfast was great. We had a few pre-season hiccups which the staff endeavored to solve. Same thing happened elsewhere. When things get busy, undoubtedly everything will go smoothly. Highly recommended, especially if you appreciate innovative design.

This hotel was the best ! The staff were amazing and the hospitality was incredible . A must to stay here . The restaurant was the best and food was incredible . The owner is Pedro’s and it was great to connect and understand the history and background . We were looked after do well . A shout out to Amy & Manos for the excellent service !
