SpringHill Suites Denver Tech Center

One of my favorite hotels in the states that I've had the pleasure of staying at. I love how the rooms are designed - same size as traditional hotel rooms, but very smartly laid out. It's a pleasure to walk into the room. Breakfast is one of the best free breakfasts that I've had at a hotel - eggs, bacon or sausage, oatmeal with several toppings, cold cereal, hard-boiled eggs, ham and cheese, either freshly cut watermelon or pineapple, Chobani yogurt, chocolate and white milk, bagels, muffins, breads and more. Wifi is great. TV remote is super simple to use and channels offer a nice selection. Shower has great pressure and has mounted body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Bed is super comfortable. Staff is friendly. This is my go to hotel for visits to this area.
Hampton Inn & Suites Denver/Highlands Ranch

I’ll start with the good; for a chain the breakfasts are excellent and the breakfast area is very clean. There is plenty of hot water and comfortable linens and beds. Now the bad; our last visit last month the heat was not on when we got into the room and the thermostat did not work. We had to switch rooms. On this visit, the thermostat was off and the room was exceptionally cold as there was a snowstorm outside. We had to wear full winter jackets inside the room for over three hours before the room finally heated up to even a “cool” temperature. I understand Hampton may not want to heat empty rooms, but it seems to me when they assign a room, prior to check in. staff should’ve turned the heat back on hours before we got there. We have also been told that after hours there is no maintenance people available or staff other than the front desk staff.
Residence Inn Denver Southwest/Littleton

I picked this hotel on a whim based on reviews. It cost about $20 more than comparables, and I'm glad I chose this place! Staff was super helpful and got me a room that met my goals. The location is really convenient, and surprisingly quiet (and I'm funny about this). I paid $10 extra to get the suite instead of the studio, which gives you a door between the living area and sleeping/bathroom - really nice. When I have the fan running on the Heat/Air, I can't hear anything, and I slept very well. The deco is pleasant and bright, things are clean. I was surprised that this has a full studio kitchen (minus an oven), but super handy. The hot breakfast options were very good (hot eggs, bacon, waffles, biscuits/gravy) plus cold assortments. I enjoyed my night so much I stayed an extra night - and surprise, the hot breakfast was different, and equally good (two different egg souflets, chorizo/potato burritos, waffles). . They have a firepit that's quite popular (claim your seats early), and with the right room you can catch a nice view of the sunset behind a vast wall of mountains on the horizon.

We needed a place to stay that was near Park Meadows and downtown and this location worked out for us. It's newly renovated and our room was nice. As a platinum member, we were upgraded to the King suite and opted for the points instead of breakfast. The front desk was super helpful and very nice, none were grumpy! It's the perfect place if you just need a night to stay and don't need the frills of a bigger hotel. It's in a safe area near a few restaurants. In our room we smelled smoke whenever someone was outside smoking, but not sure if it was due to our patio door not having a good seal once closed, or if it came through the air conditioner/heater. Overall, it's small, quaint, nice people at the front desk, and perfect for a quick stay.
DoubleTree by Hilton Denver Tech Center

Everything about this property is great! From the time we entered to the time we left we felt comfortable. We’ve stayed in some high end places and while their decor is higher end, the service and accommodations are every bit as nice here. We stayed here the last time we were in Denver over 5 years ago and recognized two of the restaurant’s wait staff. Any hotel that can retain wait staff that long is doing something right.
