It was a very special experience for me. The hotel was built with stone walls and looked in harmony with nature. It was very pretty and neat. The service was friendly and breakfast was delicious.

Quinta vez que nos quedamos en este paraje natural, sin duda uno de los mejores rincones de Portugal para sentirte en la naturaleza y liberar la mente. Esta vez hemos vuelto en tiempo con más frío y hemos podido disfrutar del fuego en la chimenea, que sinceramente después de tantos años sin chimenea en casa, es una muy buena experiencia para recordar. La atención de Rui y Anabela siempre es de 10 y están atentos a todos. Ya estamos eligiendo fechas para una futura vuela a Moinho do Maneio.

Muito bem recebidos pelos proprietários, o Sr Rui e a Sra Anabela. Local muito agradável, para ir com a família, principalmente crianças pequenas. Animais, matraquilhos, piscina, tiro ao arco, etc, muita coisa para que todos estejam entretidos. Pequeno-almoço muito bom. Local excelente para descanso. É uma experiência para voltar.

Un conjunto mágico de casitas en un entorno natural. El descanso está garantizado, es la tercera vez que nos quedamos y no va a ser la última. Se pueden realizar bastantes actividades en el mismo complejo, piscina , tiro con arco, sauna, piragua, bicicleta…. Sin salir también te puedes divertir y si te apetece visitar pueblos muy cerca tienes las Aldeas Históricas de Portugal que cada una tiene su encanto. Si vienes, volverás

An exceptional place—we decided to stay an additional day at Moinho do Maneio, canceling a night in the Douro Valley, because we loved the place and its surroundings so much. Anabela and her husband have created such a special retreat, truly a welcome respite after traveling through the busy cities of Madrid and Seville. The fireplace, the sauna, extra cozy cabin / bed, incredible breakfast with lots of homemade goodies, wine / beer to purchase, etc. all made the stay unique. This seemingly "undiscovered" area has something for everyone. It's close enough to small 13th to 16th Century medieval towns with tons of history to satisfy history fans. There's canoeing along the stream and it also looks like a cyclist and hikers paradise. It certainly exceeded its rating, in our minds. Additionally, Anabela and her husband were so helpful at pointing us to interesting sites to visit, even for when we left the area. Definitely hope to return one day and we will point others in their direction! (Must also say we enjoyed the company of their dogs and cats—such sweethearts).

Um pequeno paraíso! Envolvência maravilhosa. Sair da casa do Moleiro e saltar para o rio e uma beo banho tomar! Tão repousante e aconchegante. À beira rio duma bela leitura e muito mais desfrutar! E daí a bonita serra da Malcata e toda a envolvência conhecer!
