Spectacular
Good residence for the family. We booked the top of the range suite, had 2 bathrooms. All the conveniences were there except a washing machine but fine for a stay less than a week.
The property was very clean when we checked in and we returned it in a fairly clean state.
The spa is good and the putside hot tub with views of the mountains is spectacular.

We had a lovely stay in the 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor of the residence. We picked a Mountain View and it was a stunning view over the mountains! The sofa bed in the apartment was very large and comfortable and so were the beds. Very bijou kitchen but was fine if not cooking much. Could have benefited from an oven. Had a Spar supermarket below but limited choice and quite expensive. Could have helped if the residence had its own bar and restaurant. Not sure it felt like a five star rated hotel.
The area itself in April wasn’t brilliant for ski in ski out but I expect much better in peak season. We managed to ski out but not back as this lift was closed. The free shuttle bus was on time but was absolutely crammed full of people, even to the point you couldn’t get on when returning from the slopes to the hotel. A good 10-15 min walk into the main area of Flaine. We found it to be a little disappointing for places to eat or bars to have a drink. We ended up at the Rockypop hotel every evening for a drink. Not great for Apre ski if that is what you are after Or gourmet dining. Very limited choice.

Unacceptable for a 5 star property
Dear Pierre & Vacances Customer Service,
I am writing to reiterate my disappointment and provide further crucial details regarding my recent stay at Résidence premium Les Terrasses d'Hélios from March 17th to March 21st, 2025. This was my third reservation at this hotel, as I have always appreciated the Grand Massif area and have had positive experiences at your establishment in the past. My booking was made in advance.
Upon arrival on March 17th, I was informed that my room was not yet ready, which I understood. However, upon entering the apartment after receiving notification, I was immediately struck by a very strong and unpleasant odor of fish and other food emanating from the lounge area.
Further inspection revealed a running dishwasher containing dirty cutlery and plates. Additionally, the cutlery and plates in the kitchen cupboards also had a noticeable smell of fish. The pervasive odor in the lounge was so severe that it rendered the space unusable. Throughout my four-night stay, I was unable to sit or relax in the lounge due to the offensive smell.
I reported this issue to the reception desk and spoke with the manager. While he did offer an alternative room the following evening (my third day), this room was located on the second floor, lacked the pleasant views I had in my original room, and was smaller in size. For these reasons, and due to the disruption of moving so late into my short break, I declined this offer.

Dejligt sted
Så smukt et sted højt oppe i bjergene med flotte vandrestier. Der er gode aktiviteter for børn i gåafstand og et skønt pool/spa område. Vi boede i en super skøn lejlighed med god plads og et fint lille køllen så man ikke behøver tage ud at spise hver dag. Ligger en lille times kørsel fra Mont Blanc. Vi kommer igen!

Meget familievenlig og beliggenheden i top lige direkte ud til løjperne. Indkøb og skileje i direkte forbindelse til hotellet. Faciliteter med svimmingpool mm perfekt. Personalet meget venlig og imødekommende.

Appartement spacieux et confortable avec vue sur la station( non prévue), casier à skis soufflants, Spar en bas de la résidence très pratique, départ et arrivée skis aux pieds. Flaine est une station pour bons skieurs, une navette emmène notamment vers le secteur des balades en raquettes. Vers Carroz, Morillon et Samoens, c'est plus abordable vers des skieurs moins chevronnés. Navette vers Flaine géréé par P§V après 18h appréciable. Par contre, les douches dans la piscine ne fonctionnent pas, résultat: déjà que les gens n'utilisent pas de serviettes pour s'asseoir dans le sauna, ils vont trempés de sueur directement dans la piscine ou le jacuzzi.......alors on nous a répondu que des travaux et de la signalétique vont être revus, que les analyses sont bonnes.....mais ce n'est guère agréable.......déjà qu'il faut oublier le bruit ambiant des enfants que crient..... Attention à l'accès au jacuzzi extérieur qui est certes très agréable mais très glissant. Parking très pratique.

We hadden een 6 persoons appartment met een slaapkamer met badkamer en suite (wc, wastafel en bad), de t****e slaapkamer met een separate badkamer (wastafel en douche) en toilet. De woonkamer had een (slaap)bank, eettafel en openhaard (neem haardblok van de Action mee), tv en een keukentje. De keuken is klein maar er is wel alles ruim aanwezig om te kunnen koken. Er is een Nespresso, waterkoker, 4 pits inductie plaat, magnetron-gril, vaatwasser, en servies voor 8 personen. In het gebouw is een Spar, die een ruime keuze heeft maar de prijzen zijn wel hoger dan in het dal. Vlak bij de afrit Flaine op de autoweg is een SuperU supermarkt en tankstation. In het gebouw is ook een fijne Spa en apart een zwembad met Sauna. Het complex is ski in ski out; al zal de retour voor beginners een uitdaging zijn. Het complex heeft een parkeergarage, echter hierin kunnen alleen auto's met een maximale hoogte van 2.1 meter. Onze auto met skikoffer was te hoog en we hebben op het gratis parkeerterrein op de colle geparkeerd. Beetje onhandig. Alles bij elkaar een prima appartement voor een heerlijke week skiën in het Grand Massive. Let wel in de directe omgeving is nauwelijks een restaurant of bar. Flaine Forum is minimaal 30 min lopen en de Flaine skibus stop om 19.00.
