The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The ladies at reception are very nice and accommodating. They allowed us to checkout later due to our trip itinerary.

Van buiten is het een prachtig oud historisch gebouw, maar binnen is het hotel totaal gedateerd en verwaarloosd. In de gangen stond veel opslagmateriaal, voorraden toiletpapier en handdoeken. Ook 2 koelkasten waarschijnlijk voor arbeidsmigranten. Het laminaat in de gang naar onze kamer was kapot en zompig vanwege lekkages. Extra alert dat we ons niet verstapten. Het hotel is sinds enkele jaren in handen van een Chinese eigenaresse, maar zij was tijdens verblijf op vakantie. We hadden een klacht ’s-avonds ingediend bij zoonlief van de eigenaresse, maar daar is niets mee gedaan, want hij kon zijn moeder niet bereiken. We hadden een 4-persoonskamer geboekt omdat de andere kamers wel erg klein waren. Kamer was erg sober, de TV was zo klein dat we een verrekijker nodig hadden, maar dat maakte niet uit, want de TV-kabel was kapot en werkte dus niet, een grote spiegel in de kamer was kapot. Al met al een slechte ervaring: not the placet to be!

We were received by friendly people. Had a clean room and comfortable beds. We got everything we needed. The breakfast was ok. Our dinner was really perfect. Enough reasons to come back in future. We will meet again. Thanks again for the hospitality!

Nooit heen gaan. Wij hadden geboekt tijdens Delfsail, dus er was weinig keuze. Dan maar uitwijken naar Appingedam, daar was alleen Wapen van Leiden nog beschikbaar. Ingecheckt en werden verzocht vooruit te betalen, € 103,00 voor één 2-persoonskamer, excl ontbijt. Ok, naar de kamer door een aantal gangen waar overal het laminaat kapot was. Eenmaal in de kamer. Super klein, klein bed, handdoeken die ooit wit waren. Kledingkast die haast uit elkaar viel. Enfin, op weg naar de sail. Eenmaal bij de sail hadden we steeds meer een onaangenaam gevoel over dit hotel en deze kamer. Na afloop van de sail om 22.30 zijn we onze spullen op gaan halen en 3 1/2 uur naar huis gaan rijden. Met laden onderweg waren we om 2 uur ,s-nachts thuis om naar eigen bed te gaan. Geen aanrader!

De kamers waren heel erg vies, schimmel op de vloer van de badkamer. Hotel is zeker geen aanrader. Het personeel niet vriendelijk en het eten was ook niet van goede kwaliteit. 4 nachten geboekt, amper 1 nacht uitgehouden, de rest van de nachten geannuleerd.

Arrived late in the evening. Staff was friendly on arrival. Room was clean, however, beds very soft and pillow uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we had to listen to loud music from a bar next door, even closing the window didńt help. Lastet approx. until 03:30 in the morning - so it was difficult to find some rest. Very basic bathroom, but clean. Breakfast assortment was adequate, no hot dishes (eggs were cold).
