Stayed here with my boyfriend and it’s a lovely peaceful place to stay. Food was amazing rooms were cleaned daily if you wished. They have a great beach bar where we spent most nights. However, We booked with love holidays had no problems however when we arrived at the hotel, reception asked for a hotel voucher? Which me and my partner thought this meant confirmation of our stay, but the hotel still insisted on a hotel voucher being shown which we couldn’t understand. I contacted love holidays and this resolved the following day.” Very special mention to the lady on desk Efi she was so helpful and friendly :-) Will definitely be making a return in 2025

First, I would like to point out that the above description and various photos do not describe the Vantaris Blue. We booked a room with a private pool (beautiful mountain view) and half board at the Vantaris Blue. The reception and restaurant are located at the sister hotel, the Vantaris Luxury Beach, on the beach. You have to cross the main road, but it's manageable. The Vantaris Blue is a beautiful, relatively quiet resort. Room cleaning was very inconsistent. When Fotini was cleaning, everything was great. There are plenty of loungers at the two large pools and it was very quiet, making it easy to relax. We were only moderately satisfied with dinner at the Vantaris Luxury Beach Resort. For our taste, there was too much reheated pizza and pasta, roast meat with sauce, sauerkraut, and tuna that was too dry. Unfortunately, there were very few Greek dishes on offer. The Greek evening featured souvlaki, lamb chops, and burgers. At the Cretan Dakos, the dry bread was thrown into a bowl with far too little tomato and cheese. The breakfast was okay. Overall, we can recommend the Vantaris Blue, although we would only book with breakfast next time. There are very good tavernas in the immediate vicinity. Supermarkets and a pharmacy are also within easy walking distance.

Fabulous hotel in prime location on beach front Accommodation beautiful comfy beds ,great ac units .Clean and bright. Excellent cleaning service with fresh towels and beach towels daily. Breakfast and dinner buffet style with a wide array of foods to suit all tastes and top standard. Staff very friendly and helpful. Terry in the leisure and spa so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Had a spa treatment with Konstantina which was so so good.Would highly recommend this hotel the only downside was visitors has to cross main road to access the main hotel but otherwise could not fault this gem of a hotel. Will be back!

Overall a good holiday but cant help but feel disappointed. Rooms were nice and clean, food in the buffet was good with plenty of choice. Predominantly German guests who preferred the beach to the pool so always plenty of sun loungers available and no morning rush to grab one. Main drawback however was the poor bar service. The restaurant team were fantastic and the mangeress was lovely to our kids and made a huge effort but the bar staff didnt seem interested at all and were quite rude at times. Panos bar was a joke and it took 45 minutes one night from point of order to getting our drinks. The bar wasn't even busy. We complained about the service and were told simply to talk to reception. When we did tell reception they didn't seem interested in the slightest and when we checked in again in the morning no notes had been taken so the staff were unaware. The evening entertainment was also very poor and the kids were bored so not really a great hotel for families. Beautiful country and good memories with friends and family just let down by some staff that need some customer service training.

Pro's : - clean and organized hotel which looks as a 4* hotel; - the beach is clean and with nice sand and water; - in the morning the sea is calm and in the afternoon nice waves; - the hotels gardens are are nice and maintain correctly; - the hotel personal was nice (we arrived at 3 o'clock AM and they offers us some snacks and water even was not included) - due to some problems with a cancel flight and a agency that was not collaborating(DANAOS) the hotel was open to support us and came with some solutions; - the food was good and diverse (we had all inclusive) - rooms are cleaned every day and ours was with a nice view (sea side and garden) Con's : - in the last day some ants were starting to like our room (ground floor room) but nothing serious.

Jeden z lepszych hoteli w jakich byłam. Czystość i wyżywienie na wysokim poziomie. Ręczniki wymieniane codziennie. Dostępne bez kaucji ręczniki plażowe, basenowe. Obsługa miła. Do hotelu przyjechaliśmy parę minut po śniadaniu ale recepcjonistka zadzwoniła na restaurację i poinformowała że przyjdziemy zjeść. Pokój dostaliśmy praktycznie od razu, pomimo że doba zaczyna się od 14. Basen nie wymaga rezerwacji ręczników. Plaża czysta przy hotelu. Jedyny minusik, płatne napoje do kolacji.Kreta cudowna. Położenie hotelu świetne jako bazą wypadową. Warto skorzystać z tutejszych wypożyczalni i wycieczek fakultatywnych. Jest taniej. Tutejsi Grecy to przemili ludzie.
