Vanavond lekker gegeten in Van der Valk Apeldoorn. Goed personeel, leuke buzz, lekker eten. Gewoon allemaal goed en zeker een aanrader om eens lekker te eten.

Wat een drama kamer. Geen ramen, geen licht als je al geen claustrofobie heb dan krijg je het wel in deze kamer. We hadden een voorkeur opgegeven maar hier wordt door het hotel nooit naar geluisterd. Ook deze kamer vroeg geboekt dus ze kijken er niet naar. Hoewel we hier al jaren, een paar keer per jaar komen zullen we dit hotel voortaan overslaan.

We begonnen onze vakantie door hier te dineren, het beviel zo goed dat we besloten om nogmaals terug te keren ter afsluiting van de vakantie. De lobby en het restaurant zijn erg mooi (we hebben enkel gegeten en niet overnacht). We gingen buiten zitten en bestelden witte wijn en spa rood met citroen, vervolgens werd de spa rood zonder citroen geserveerd en de hoeveelheid wijn zat ruim onder het streepje dat op het glas staat. Omdat het afkoelde buiten besloten we naar binnen te gaan om te eten, we werden door de bediening naar een tafel binnen begeleid maar we werden niet geholpen om onze drankjes en bestek mee naar binnen te verhuizen. Ook het reeds ingedekte bestek op de tafel binnen werd niet weggehaald waardoor we met dubbel bestek zaten (was erg rommelig op tafel), dit werd later pas weer weggehaald. Onder de tafel lagen etensresten. We hadden de ribeye besteld welke er meer uitzag als een doorgebakken karbonade, hij was te ver doorbakken en de smaak van het vlees was niet lekker. Al maakte de pepersaus de smaak deels goed. Uiteindelijk werd ons gevraagd of het gesmaakt had, we gaven aan dat de ribeye echt niet lekker was (terwijl we die vaak eten). Op het moment dat ik dit aan had gegeven werd er niet op gereageerd of doorgevraagd. Een goede karbonade is nog lekkerder dan deze ribeye, nog nooit zo’n slechte ribeye gehad.

Goede service. Restaurant is ook erg goed, ruime keuze zowel voor volwassenen als kinderen. Hotelkamer is ook goed, ziet er allemaal prima en schoon uit, lekker zwembad, perfect ontbijt. Veel te doen in de buurt zoals de Apenheul, Julianatoren en Paleis 't Loo. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!!

Het begon al met een geweldige actie van de receptie om mijn verblijf aan te passen. Het verblijf zelf was (voor de zoveelste maal) weer grandioos. Mooie en ruime kamer met prima bed. Geweldig terras met aansluitende grote tuin. Bediening snel en vriendelijk, ook heerlijk eten. Prima kaart, met dieet werd rekening gehouden/
