It’s quite safe to take a taxi directly from the airport. At least it looks like there is a small church behind. There are a lot of pigeons at the door. Next to the church is the aquarium. It takes 10 minutes to walk from Victory Square to the beach.
I think the location is very good. There is a 7-24 hour convenience store next to it. You can buy everything except hot water.
