Sfeervolle ryokan
Zeer sfeervolle ryokan, met een uitstekend diner en ontbijt! Is niet goedkoop maar het geld waard. Er was ook goed rekening gehouden met mijn dieetrestricties.
De mensen zijn heel vriendelijk. 's Morgens prachtig uitzicht!
Enige minpunt voor mij was dat mijn neus helemaal op hol sloeg vanwege het stof.

A lovely authentic Japanese Ryokan
A very lovely experience in a very authentic Ryokan. Staff are very nice and friendly. Breakfasts and dinners are truly authentic Japanese fare. Would love to visit again!

This was the most beautiful Ryokan we’ve ever stayed in. Wonderful hosts, beautiful rooms, amazing food, lovely Onsen and absolutely stunning walks in the hills and mountains around. Thanks to our wonderful hosts!

This is a precious inn that was built in the Meiji era in Tazawa Onsen, near the famous Bessho Onsen in Nagano Prefecture, and is a "National Registered Tangible Cultural Property." It's a little rundown, but it has a certain charm and atmosphere. The baths are wonderful, with free-flowing spring water, open-air baths, and private baths. The food is not bad either. I feel like the room rates used to be cheaper, but I think it would be better to keep them at the current rates and manage them better than before. The building is large, but it is run on a small scale (which has its merits), so it requires understanding from the guests. If you like it, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
