Best Relaxing villa type hotel. Rooms are very spacious and the open theme concept to nature is outstanding. Open air bathroom concept was fantastic. Meals are ala-carte which was awesome( hot served meals). A attendant 24hrs to look for us. Best place in Anuradhapura for a family stay, clam and quiet environment facing the lake. Thanks for making our stay the best.

Das mit Abstand beste Boutiquehotel auf der Insel. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, so auch die Badezimmer die auch über eine außen Dusche mit großen Freiraum verfügen. Das Essen ist wunderbar und wir täglich nach Wunsch zubereitet. Der kleine Pool ist traumhaft und der Ausblick über das Wasser ist wunderbar. Kurzum ein echtes Juwel

Alles wunderbar. Aussergewöhnliche Location, mitten in der Natur. Naturschauspiel bei Sonnenaufgang. Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Gutes Essen. Jederzeit wieder. Wunderschönes Zimmer. Riesen Badezimmer. Unbedingt bei Sonnenaufgang auf die Terrasse gehen um das Naturspektakel zu geniessen.

Die letzte Meile zum Arachchi Heritage fragt man sich schon, wo es jetzt wohl hingeht..., aber dann öffnet sich ein Tor und man betritt etwas ganz besonders. Im Rahmen einer Rundreise haben wir 2 Tage in Anuradhapura verbracht. In anderen Hotels auf Sri Lanka habe ich bereits eine z. T. offene Bauweise kennengelernt, aber der Architekt des Arachchi Heritage hat das Inside-out Prinzip auf das maximal Mögliche gebracht. Ganze Wände lassen sich falten und zur Seite schieben. Man ist drinnen und draußen zugleich. Dazu kommt die einsame und ruhige Lage am See. Exotische Vögel, die man beobachten kann, dazu die freundlichen und zugleich professionellen Gastgeber. Es gibt nur 3 Zimmer, wir hatten HP, das Essen morgens und Abends war sehr gut, der Pool eine schöne Erfrischung. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die abseits vom Trubel das Besondere suchen.

Maybe one of the best Hotels I ever had the luck to stay at! What a wonderful location. Our room was luxurious, with a great view from the bedroom over the lake. The lovely hosts are extremely friendly, the freshmade food is very delicious. We sincerely Hope to come back again. It’s a great place!

Alles was perfect! De locatie ligt buiten het drukke centrum van Anuradhapura, maar dichtbij de meest bekende bezienswaardigheden. De accommodatie is werkelijk prachtig! Ontworpen door een architect met oog voor detail en de familiegeschiedenis van de eigenaar! In werkelijkheid nog mooier dan op foto’s. Het is voor Sri Lankaanse begrippen geen goedkoop verblijf, maar je krijgt absoluut waar voor je geld. Wij hebben duurdere en goedkopere verblijven afgewisseld en dat beviel zeer goed! Maar boven alles is de vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van de eigenaren en hun team bewonderenswaardig! Heel veel complimenten voor allemaal. Wij hadden het geluk dat we één dag de enige gasten waren en mochten meehelpen het diner voor onszelf te maken, wat een mooie ervaring! Ik kan positieve dingen blijven schrijven, maar nog beter is om het zelf te gaan beleven bij hun!!!

What an amazing beautiful architectural home. Incredible views from the roof top. You are surrounded by wonderful wildlife in particular the multiple species of birds. I recommend getting up for sunrise. The hosts could not be more helpful and create a home like welcome. Delicious home cooked food and very attentive service. Do not miss out on a visit.

What a unique place to stay! A serene location with stunning views over the lake towards the old city of Anuradhapura. We were looked after with such kindness and attention that we began to feel like part of the family. Our meal was cooked to order by local people and served in a beautiful setting next to the lake, where we were amazed by the sights and sounds of local wildlife. The hotel owner made us feel very welcome and all staff displayed a passion for providing exemplary service. Would not hesitate to return.
