The system with two codes at the front door of the floor and the general entrance worked so poorly that we had to wait outside with the family for a while. Location and view were super good. WiFi and TV didn't work for a second. Sanitary facilities and surfaces were good. WiFi and TV were advertised. It's a shame that there was renovation work going on underneath and diagonally below us. Antwerp Center is highly recommended. Price and quality were reasonable, with some small improvements this apartment can really become a top apartment. What really disturbed us was that the lobby door was open again and then did not work again, because the electricity was off.

We are largely satisfied with the apartment. It's spacious and clean, centrally located, and basically has everything you need, just as *********** described. Check-in was also seamless. The only negatives are that the living area (with the sofa bed) can't be darkened, and the balcony door in the bedroom is locked with a screw. Otherwise, the price/performance ratio is good.

De locatie is prachtig, laat ik dat voorop stellen. Je zit in hartje Antwerpen en dat is zeer nice. Echter blijft daar al het positieve ook wel bij. Het appartement ziet er verder bij binnenkomst op zich prima uit. Je handdoeken en het dekbedden goed voor de slaapbank liggen klaar. Als je echter de kastjes doorgaat, dan zie je dat je ook maar het minimum van het minimum kan vinden. Net (niet) genoeg keuken waar om normaal te kunnen koken en te kunnen eten. Verder zal degene op de slaapbank een slaapkamer mee moeten nemen aangezien er geen fatsoenlijke gordijnen in de woonkamer zijn. Maar genoeg lichtinval van de winkels in de straat! Verder is het vreemd dat je om in het appartement te komen (wij verbleven in 401) zo'n lange gang en zoveel trappen op moest zonder enige vorm van trappenlift of lift. Dit is dus niet aan te raden als je met iemand verblijft die minder ter been is. Als laatste is de service van Smartflats ronduit slecht. Ze zijn niet te bereiken en reageren pretty much bijna nooit terug en als ze dat doen, dan is het veel veel later. Je krijgt dan ook een of andere Fransman of vrouw die bijna geen Engels kent of onverstaanbaar Engels spreekt. En op elke request is het antwoord nee. Nu snap ik dat niet alles kan, maar klantvriendelijkheid is niet een begrip dat je bij Smartflats moet zoeken. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Dat het een bedrijf zo aan basic klantvriendelijkheid en klantgerichtheid kan ontbreken en een locatie aan wat (in mijn optiek) essentiële basisvoorziening vind ik best wel kwalijk voor het bedrag wat je er voor betaalt.

Locatie is echt top. Bedden waar al opgemaakt en er lagen handdoeken. Alleen niet voor 4 personen, maar voor 2 personen. En het was niet heel schoon. Maar prijs/kwaliteit/ locatie is daar voor een nachtje prima door heen te kijken. Niet alles was perfect, maar nogmaals gezien de prijs zeker geen probleem. Meerendeel van de tijd waren we in de stad in plaats van in de flat.

We couldn't get in because the button panel with the code wasn't there, or rather, there was one but it wasn't theirs and it didn't work. We were out in the cold of November (about 0 degrees) for at least 2 and a half hours while we tried to talk to customer service via WhatsApp to get them to open up, it felt like we were talking to a monkey trained to say 2 sentences ("look for the right button panel" and "are you sure you're in the right place?"). Moral of the story, luckily we booked with booking and we managed to get our money back... and above all, luckily we found another free structure. Ps. We had a 6 month old baby with us who got really cold!

1. Pas d'internet alors que nous sommes en vacances et en avons besoin - nous avons contacté Smartflats qui nous a complètement ignoré même pas une réponse. 2. Canapé-lit du salon complètement défoncé - impossible d'y dormir à 2 dedans - en forme de cuvette - idem nous leur avons signalé mais ils nous ont totalement ignoré 3. équipement de cuisine vraiment trop minimaliste (pas de grille-pain, pas de spatule en bois, pas de ciseaux, etc. - poêle tellement abîmée cancérigène, etc.) 4. Pas de poubelles pour recycler - qu'une seule poubelle pour tout 5. Lumières avec capteur qui s'allume toute seules mais qui restent allumées pendant 20 minutes - pas top au milieu de la nuit et encore une fois pas super pour l'environnement! 6 - des traces de moustiques morts un peu partout sur les murs et aussi sur l'oreiller de mon fils 7. la poignée d'une fenêtre qui reste dans la main 8. Et donc ces photographies qui se veulent peut-être artistiques et qui pourraient peut-être passer dans une galerie mais à voir en gros plan dans son salon... un peu glauque - un homme torse-nu assis par terre dont on ne voit pas le visage et qui a l'air défoncé et une femme à droite dont on ne voit pas le visage non plus caché par ses cheveux - on a rarement vu moins déprimant dans son salon ... 9. un petit classeur pour nous dire comment utiliser les appareils ménagers - pourquoi pas? mais bon vu que la télé marche pas et que personne ne s'en est préoccupé - qu'on nous parle d'une machine à laver le linge alors qu'il n'y en n'a pas par contre aucun fascicule ou quoique ce soit pour dire ce qu'il y a à faire à Anvers ou ce qu'il y a dans le quartier ce qui aurait été d'autant plus pratique que nous n'avions pas internet à cause de la wifi non fournie!!! Voilà - extrêmement déçue......

Warning! Do Not Book! I booked this apartment, intending to receive codes to open the door to the building and another code for the apartment. At 3:30 PM, we hadn't received them, even though the check-in time was at 4:00 PM. So, I called them, and initially, they said they had no record of my booking at all. But when I provided the apartment number mentioned in the email, suddenly, they found my name and sent the codes via SMS. We headed to the building to rest after our journey. However, we couldn't enter the building as the keypad wasn't functional—it didn't make any sound or light up. We called them again to explain the situation. Their response was that they had to wait for the technicians to respond about when they could come and fix it. I explained that we were standing outside the apartment with our luggage and two small children, while it was pouring rain. We stood there for an hour, making multiple calls, and they kept saying that I had to wait for the technicians to provide an answer before they could do anything. They didn't know when that would be, meaning it could take several hours. It was extremely disappointing that they couldn't immediately open the door or send someone to let us in while waiting for their technician. Consequently, we had to quickly book another room just to have a place to stay with our children.

What an awful place!! Our kids couldnt sleep because of the insanely loud music of the neighbours every night. They give loud concerts almost every night. The olace was not welcoming at all. Unfinished, old fashioned intetiot and nothing SMART about it. Wifi didnt even reach the living room. No service at all...client service never picked up the phone. Elevator broke and wasnt fixed during our entire stay. We had to carry the baby straller up all the stairs with suitcases and all. In the entrance hallway they stalled all the dirty laundry such as on the picture below. Very very noisy. Bed in living room was very uncomfortable. Terrible! How can this be on ***********????

Bij aankomst bleek CV defect, monteur zou dag erna contact opnemen maar nooit meer iets van gehoord. Bij terugkomst uit stad bleek toegans deur op slot te zitten en kon niet meer worden geopend met de deur code. Na veel bellen met de service desk kwam het advies op maar op eigen gelegenheid een ander hotel te zoeken want ze hadden lokaal niemand beschikbaar op de deur te komen openen. Kortom, appartement ligt mooi alleen service (geen warm water en verwarming in de winter) en het risico om buiten te worden gesloten is de boeking niet waard
