The hotel is good, but for foreigners without Chinese moving around, the small city is not easy. It is just so hard to grab a taxi. The last day, the hotel was unable to provide transportation back to the train station. The other night, it was also hard to get a taxi to go for dinner. We needed to wait for the bus and walk. It is not a big distance, but with elders and small kids in freezing temperatures, it is not fun. The hotel is closed to the north entrance for Changbai, but it is a bit far from downtown, where the most people are and the restaurants are.
