There are hardly enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was at Moonfra. The property is located in a charming village outside of Asti, with many nearby villages with delicious restaurants serving piemontese cuisine. Chiara and her family could not be more welcoming and helpful. My only regret is that our stay was too short. We look forward to returning soon.

Chiara... what can I say. Your smile just made us smile the moment we walked in. You were so friendly, the breakfast was amazing (also because you personally came and checked what we liked for breakfast), the garden and the pool were amazing facilities that make you feel at home immediately. Forever a special place in our heart (Chiara knows why) and we will be back for sure. Thank you again for the amazing stay, wished we could have stayed longer.

Our stay at Moonfra was the best holiday stay that we have ever had as a family. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was 100% perfect. Most of this was due to the manager Chiara. She was absolutely lovely and helpful throughout our stay. It’s hard to say what exactly was so great (because everything was fabulous), but here are some things that comes to mind. 1. A lovely pool in the garden 2. A fabulous breakfast (you order “cook to order” fresh produce, like eggs, pancakes and so on 3. The rooms! Wow! Amazing, with painted roofs and a huge terrace 4. The garden! Beautiful garden to sit and eat/drink 5. The ability to taste and buy all kinds of different local wines 6. Chiara’s help in suggesting excursions, day trips, and helping out with dinner reservations We can’t wait to come back! When we checked out, my wife was even given a departure gift in the form of lavender flowers!! We felt as part of their family! //A Swedish family of 2 adults and 2 children

We had a family trip in Italy this october and stayed few days at Piedmont at this wonderfull and magical guesting house. We met Chiara eho is the owner of the house . She is very kind , funny, and a good person. Thanks yo her we had our best expirience in piadmonte. The breakfast was the best i have ever had with vegies grown in their own garden .everythong was fresh and tasty! Very recomended !!! For families, couples, and for lonely adventures as well. You wont regret it.

Would of stayed forever if we could. Beautiful place in a glorious setting with fabulously welcoming people. Didn't have one complaint and left feeling relaxed and well fed. We will definitely be back.

We are a family of 15 people who travel a lot around the world, we have been to France, Holland, Spain, Romania and about 7 times in Italy. In Italy we were in Tuscany, Piedmont, Milan, Florence, Venice, Bergamo, the Lake District and more Of all the dozens of places we've been to, Moonfra unanimously won first place. It is a family mansion of 6 rooms (two suites and 4 rooms) with breakfast. When everything starts and ends with the owner of the place Mrs. Chiara who together with her mother made us feel at home with a warm and exciting attitude. Breakfast is served according to our wishes with fresh produce of vegetables, cheeses and everything we asked for, cakes baked every day and fresh breads. The place has wide lawns, a view of the beautiful Piedmont hills and a swimming pool for those who want it. We visited in the fall, so it was cool for the pool, so we will definitely come back in the summer as well Thank you very much Chiara arrivederci

Beautifully renovated place, cosy, comfortable, calme, well located between Asti and Alba. We spent a few days there and definitely loved it. Breakfast is freshly made, with local products and is just awesome. Chiara is such a sweet host, always smiling, caring, with good advice and not afraid of doing the little extra that'll make your day.
