Kevin and Leslie are wonderful hosts. The inn is kept up, graciously. We stayed in the Granville suite. Breakfast was served on china. Kevin is a master chef. Cooking was his first job in British Columbia, the owners decided to move to Nova Scotia and open an inn. This is their passion.

It was love at first sight. We loved the house, our room, the breakfasts, the other guests, and the hosts—especially the hosts! The hard part was leaving. We were there for 3 nights. Annapolis Royal is really pretty as is the surrounding area. We felt so lucky to have the opportunity to be there and expect you will feel the same way.

My husband and I were in the area for one night and I wish it was so much longer. We have stayed at B & Bs before but never have we felt so welcomed and comfortable as we were here. The room was huge and beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, the windows opened which for me is a big deal because I live for fresh air at night. The bathroom was also very nice, ensuite. The entire home is spotless, I have no idea how they do it. Now let's talk about breakfast! Good grief, do NOT pass up breakfast. Delicious! We had vegetable frittata, homemade biscuits, French press coffee and juice and a fresh fruit bowl. We didn't eat again until supper! Loved the stories we heard about the area and the home from the owners and especially loved our morning greet with the lovely resident chiweenie who is just a doll. Enjoy your stay, we sure did.

Exceeded expectations!
We only stayed a single night, but the host was so friendly, welcoming, & enthusiastically informative, from dining recommendations to historical local trivia. The inn has immaculate decor & the whole town has such fascinating rich history. The breakfast frittatas were spectacularly flavourful & filling. We simply can't wait to return for much longer!

A wonderful place to experience the beautiful town of Annapolis Royal. Lark and Loon has period rooms filled with exquisite furnishing and well complemented by the pottery of the owner, Kevin. He and his wife are very helpful with their knowledge of the area and provide their guests with a beautiful and delicious breakfast to start the day with. I'd recommend booking directly with them as they are very helpful and efficient.

This is a beautiful B&B. Very clean and well decorated. The hosts were so friendly and served a delicious breakfast. I would highly recommend a stay here!
