Historic Inns of Annapolis

The room was small. Service was exceptional! The plugins on the tables were old and the plug would fall out, which was a little annoying.

The hotel is gorgeous and is located in a great location for all things here in Annapolis. The staff was friendly and the room was great. That being said, if you need to get to bed early then you might have a problem. On both nights of our stay there were dance parties. One wedding reception and one 40th birthday party. The parties were right outside our courtyard window. I enjoyed the music, but some might not. I overheard one guest complaining. He was not told until checking there would be a DJ blasting dance tunes until 10:30. He was in town for a bike race and needed sleep. The front desk accompanied him and it all ended ok. Bottom line: I would sure stay here again, but if would always ask what the party situation is.

We hosted a corporate event at Historic Inns of Annapolis, and it was excellent! The hotel is a refreshing break from the norm with loads of history and period-specific decor. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and hotel is right in the heart of Annapolis and convenient to everything. We will certainly go back again.

Great weekend away in Annapolis, loved our dinner at the Severn Inn across the bridge with great views. Our valet Brandon was super!

The Historic Inns of Annapolis are three separate historic buildings converted to hotels The one we stayed in was the Governor Calvert King. This one also serves as the check in point for all three. Or room was large, elegantly furnished and, to be honest, a little gloomy. The location was terrific, right opposite the state house and round the corner from Main Street. That being said, because of the location, parking was an issue, although the hotel offered valet parking at a fairly premium price. No breakfast was available, so we took advantage of Chick and Ruth's Deli which was nearby.

I came to the town with my son to visit the US Naval Academy. I saw the Historic Inns and chose to stay here as he loves history. We stayed at the Robert Johnson House. We really enjoyed it and everything was so clean. The pillows are definitely better than any other hotel and the beds are very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I arrived at 2am very tired, but I walked in to see Tiara's warm and welcoming smile. She helped me again the next evening when I needed to extend my stay. She was able to extend my stay at the same discounted rate I had through another website. I hope to come back and visit this lovely town again soon. When I do, I only want to stay at the Historic Inns. They take care of your car for you and everything including the USNA is within walking distance. I highly recommend eating at Chick & Ruth's!! Best food in town!!
