Excellent stay, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, highly recommended, with excellent host. Plenty of places to eat and nice pubs as well. Plenty of things to do nearby if you like walking , fishing or visiting castles or museums.

Great host!
Owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and went the extra mile to make my stay special. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good. Cost was very very reasonable. Very quaint property, dated but comfortable. I will stay again and would recommend.

Lovely old building with the tiles in the hall a nice feature.
Bed and pillows very comfy.
Shower clean and functional.
Breakfast was excellent, particularly the sausages !

For the price would expect a bit more. Paid £85 for bed and breakfast but no extras which for that price I would expect. Place is a bit dated and could do with a little brightening up. Breakfast was pretty tasty but breakfast place like rest of hotel could’ve a bit brighter. Host friendly enough. Be aware though that Annan doesn’t have much eateries so difficult to get an evening meal.

The Rectory
I stayed for two nights as i was attempting a wedding. The room was as expected. Full English for breakfast on both mornings which set me up for the day
