We stayed here for ten days and overall had a good time There were a few negatives but mainly positives Our room was very dark but worse,we woke up after getting there at night on our first night scratching like mad and realised when we woke up it was infested with mosquitos, my husband had 150 bites lumps all over his back legs and arms I had about 60 in the day time we could see over 100 in our apartment on the walls and in the bathroom we expected a few but the room was literally infested We had a word with a man on reception about it he shrugged and said its crete what do you expect and told us to buy repellent at the spa I didn't think he was very helpful as I said there's over 100 in there not the odd few I do think the room should have been fumigated but it wasn't going to happen so my husband bought a Can of spray and killed them all it was a mosquito grave yard, things did improve after that 2nd day but the bites were terrible The bathroom has an open drain so I think this attracts the mosquitos We had no patio door so no natural light or air came in as we had to keep the windows shut due to the mosquitos The shower was good but tiny area you can't wash properly Good points The food was good Pool area lovely The stray cats were lovely you could see that the staff feed them and alot of guests including ourselves The staff working in the breakfast and dinner room are really nice and friendly as are the cleaners they all work really hard Surrounding Area is lovely, it's quiet but not far from the old villages or Hersinossos, the hotel is very close to a beautiful beach, we walked into Hersinossos twice I'd like to give a special thank you to the staff in the bar attached to the hotel the staff are amazing so friendly and welcoming, we were given free raki shots every night, they did amazing cocktails and pizza We would go back but in a different room

Booked this as a very last minute basis for a four night stay with my wife. We arrived late at night but the cheerful hotel owner was there to greet us. Check in was very quick. We were shown to our room (D1) which was ground level and tucked away in a quiet corner. The room was spacious with a double bed and a single. The room was very clean and was kept clean during the stay. We were bed and breakfast. The breakfast was very nice with a decent spread of hot and colds to choose from and a good variety of fruit. There is a small swimming pool and a pool bar. However, the bar was never open while we were there. Now to the negative and this isn't really a dig at the hotel as such but, it is very isolated. There is a bar and restaurant attached which does nice food and drinks but there is nothing else. The small hotel is surrounded by sprawling 5 star, all inclusive hotel complexes that were for residents only. There is no choice other than use the above mentioned bar and restaurant. There is, however, the option to walk to Hersonossis. It's a 20-25 minute walk along the coast. If you don't want to walk, the bar staff are always willing to call a taxi which come very quickly and costs 10 Euro each way. To sum up, a very nice family run hotel but out of the way. If you want a choice of bar and restaurants, this isn't the place for you. Would I go back? Due to the location, sadly not.

Absolutely great hotel, nice rooms, comfy beds, very tasty breakfast and dinner. Beautiful flowers all around Garden restaurant absolutely great food and all hotel stuff, was really friendly. Pool was really nice Beach are very close near hotel, city Hersonissos short walk We will definitely return :)

This is a very lovely family hotel. Owner is always around helping and smiling. It’s a small pearl surrounded by 5 stars hotel. For the price we have paid we were very happy. The first room that we have been given was too out of date for me, we have paid some extra and we were given E2 lovely and modern with big windows, nice bathroom and plenty of space. I loved it. Hotel stuff are very helpful. They are always happy, chatty and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are all very nice and professional. Room have been cleaned regularly, Hotel is clean and kept nicely outside with lovely walkway and plants. There is a small pool. It was enough for everybody because hotel is also small. Which we liked. We do not like busy and noisy hotels. There were always enough sunbeds for us. Food was okay. For the price we paid we never went hungry. My only negative comment is that it was always just a bit warm. Only soup was proper hot. It’s not a busy area. If you are looking for something with plenty of things to do, this place is not for you. It’s more chill and quiet. Again great for us. Beach was about 15 minutes walk down and up hill. Not for everybody we loved it as it was small and not many people were there. We came at the beginning of May, so just the beginning of season. Malia and Heronissos are not far away. There are two buses going 2 minutes from the hotel to the local towns. Agios Nikolaos and local village museum it’s a must see. Rent a car if you can. There is a car rental next to the hotel or speak with reception. We want to thank everyone at the hotel for a nice stay. All the best crew!
