Facilities: This is a point deduction item. The air conditioner took three repairs before it was repaired, and it leaked for three days. I laid out several towels in the middle of the night and my suitcase got wet.
Hygiene: Hygiene is okay, cleaned every day, but some swimming pools feel like they have just been painted, and swimsuits will stick to the body, and it will be difficult to wash off if they stick to the soles of the feet.
Environment: The environment is very good, the beach is right in the resort.
Service: Every employee serves with a smile and has a good attitude.
The several restaurants reserved in the catering section are all delicious, but the buffet breakfast and lunch are a bit the same.

Wir waren vom 26.04.- 03.05. 2025 im Hotel Knossos Royal. Wir kamen bei gutem Wetter an. Leider hatten wir aber danach schlechtes Wetter mit Regen. Die Temperaturen lagen zwischen 13- 19 Grad Das sollte aber kein Problem darstellen, denn wir hatten warme Bekleidung dabei. Mit entsprechend gebuchten Ausflügen und ein Tag im SPA Bereich wurde uns die Woche versüßt. Hervorzuheben ist natürlich der SPA Bereich. Gebucht hatten wir eine 50 minütige Tiefenmassage bei Sia, eine sehr empathische Junge Frau. Immer gut drauf, für einen kleinen Spaß zu haben und bestrebt Deutsch zu lernen. Sie brachte uns natürlich etwas Griechisch bei. Von Natalia wurden wir dann nacheinander massiert. Sie ist ebenfalls eine junge empathische Frau. Trotz Sprachbarriere gelang es ihr den richtigen Massagedruck zu finden. Sie ging auf alle Wünsche ein. Gut erholt ging es danach kurz in die Sauna. Ein großes Dankeschön an die beiden Frauen und bleibt so wie ihr seid. Ebenfalls waren wir von Paulina begeistert. Eine ganz liebe, sehr freundliche und aufgeschlossene junge Frau. Sie gehört zur Gästebetreuung und spricht sehr gut Deutsch. Durch Paulina erfuhren wir, dass es verschiedene Restaurants (italienisch, griechisch, mediterran und Strandrestaurant) in der Anlage gab, in denen wir unsere Abendessen einnehmen konnten. Eine Reservierung bei Paulina war nötig. Sehr angenehm empfanden wir, dass sie uns täglich auf ein Feedback ansprach. So konnten Probleme oder Missverständnisse sofort ausgeräumt werden. Auch an dieser Stelle ein Dankeschön an Paulina. Wir könnten noch viel viel mehr schreiben, denn das Hotel sowie die gesamte Anlage sind hervorragend. Ein riesengroßes Dankeschön an die Rezeption, die Animateure, das Servicepersonal,die Küche und an die, die wir vergessen haben. Wir kommen wieder.

Despite the first few days of my holiday not having the best weather I still had a wonderful time at the Knossos hotel the staff were lovely but especially the staff at the gym and the Spa girls Sia and Natalia who were wonderful and def would recommend one of the treatments and once the sun came out it definitely made a whole different experience also Geogious at the bottom pool bar was always smiling no matter the weather or time of day.

As we arrived late at night reception staff didn't check us in. There is no information in the rooms about facilities, entertainment, meal times (there's an indoor pool centre we only heard about this on our last day! - as it was cold n wet all would have been good to know). Rooms- nice, set out nice, lovely views comfortable, however whilst towels are changed daily consumables tea, coffee milk and drinking water wasn't. Drinking was available from fountains but cleaners disposed of my bottles. Nice coffee machine in the room - but not pods to put in it! Food- generally nice, good choice the separate restaurants were a nice change. However- it was really cold n windy and wet the first few days we were expected to have lunch outside the snack bar... absolutely freezing. They did move this to the main restaurant after a few days... but no one told us..very poor communication. The main restaurant was cold all the doors were open to the terrace most ppl had coats on. But there was a nice choice of food, note food isn't available all day..so if you like a lie in...you need to wait until.12.30 for lunch. There's no entertainment room, every night there was something on in the smallbar..if you can get a seat and it table service only! It's a nice setting- shame that the extra touches are missing. Not a 5 star as we know it.

Troisième séjour en Crète et à l'évidence le moins de tous les 5 étoiles visités .Certes la météo n'était pas au rendez-vous la dernière semaine d'avril. Belles installations en cas de beau temps mais inexploitables pour notre semaine. Une chambre simple mais très confortable,coffre fort, wifi,chaînes Françaises et une terrasse vue mer égale à la surface de la chambre. Bagagistes véhiculés, permanence journalière d'un service médical, un service de bus sur le parvis de l'hôtel complète l'offre. Le point faible de cet hôtel est principalement le déjeuner servi dans le snack que je qualifierais de très moyenne cafétéria de super marché.Quand on se prévaut d'être un 5 étoiles il est particulièrement inadmissible de faire déjeuner ses clients dans le froid, les courants d'air. La direction ne semble pas entendre les clients tousser et déjeunant avec doudoune et bonnet sur la tête... D'autant que le choix des plats proposés est ''light'' et de toute manière on y mange froid.J'ai du réclamer, comme probablement bon nombre de clients, fermement pour que la salle du dîner soit ouverte le midi . Gros point positif l'équipe Kappa qui relève le niveau de cet établissement.
