But I believe that the casual atmosphere, on the beach, makes people forget that it is a 5-star brand, and not a guesthouse. I arrived and at reception no one said “good afternoon” to me. I was left with nothing to do, while one of the people was behind a computer. I was waiting for “good afternoon, welcome to the Hotel Fasano Angra”, as before, in the heyday, 3 years ago. All good. The huge hotel only has 1 restaurant open at night. And this one, the renowned Fasano, with 30 X 12, that is, 30 adults for 12 children. Breakfast, sometimes 10 x 10, 10 adults for 10 children. I witnessed embarrassing scenes, of screaming children and guests, adults, who are not parents, and there is no reason to listen to screaming, including me, looking at each other embarrassed. I discussed this with a guest in the elevator, and she had the same opinion. She told me she didn't expect this frequency. The kids club, a great place, completely empty. And the Club Marea pool, full of screaming children and water toys. I was afraid that I would start being called uncle in the hallways. God awful. Otherwise, it's still great: the spa is excellent, the rooms are good, the products are great, room service is excellent. The manager Patrícia, excellent, very conscientious, elegant, and the older employees, showing friendliness and professionalism. In fact, all the service in the restaurants is impeccable!
