The hotel’s location is perfect- right in the center of Angers, about a 15 minute walk from the train station. It can be a little loud at night because there are some bars/restaurants nearby, but perfect if you want to be close to lots of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.
Everything was clean and well-kept and the staff were professional. Inside the rooms, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom looked modern and recently redone, and they had a simple air-conditioning unit that was a lifesaver in this unprecedented heat.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Book a room with a terrace if you can. Very friendly and efficient staff and good value for money! Right in the city centre so ideal for tourist sites and bars and restaurants. If you have never been to Angers, then you should go to this beautiful city and the Hotel Saint Julien makes a perfect base!

Hotel situated in the centre so ideal for access. Car parking very close but expensive! Hotel should try and get a discount for guests. Room was okay, Shabby Chic look, but looked more Shabby than Chic! But it was comfortable and as it was only for one night, suited our needs.

Amazing view of the Matterhorn. The Roman was a large suite. The bed, the pillows were super comfortable. The spa bath was perfect even with a view of the mountain. The balcony was the best part. We sat for hours just looking at the mountain. I highly recommend!

Very central location; within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, the Chateau and the river Loire. Smart and comfortable room, recently refurbished. Air conditioning unit very effective but a bit noisy at night. Opening the windows also let in noise from people out eating and drinking late in the square below. Staff on reception were really friendly and helpful. We arrived by bike and were able to store our bikes safely on the ground floor of the hotel, which was very useful.

Chambre sous les toits, chaleur étouffante. L évacuation bruyante des cuisines sous la fenêtre de la salle de bain propage l odeur de friture dans la chambre. Chambre pas du tout conforme aux photos sur internet. Très mauvaise expérience.

très bien en famille, très bon rapport qualité/prix, hôtel propre, chambre suffisamment grande, petit déjeuner bien, personnel sympathique, forfait nuit au parking de la ville à côté 3€/nuit, très bien pour visiter Angers car au centre ville.
