The hotel caters to the travelers who are on a budget but gets value from the savings. Economy wise. The buffet is truly budget friendly. The food is relatively generous than getting fastfood from grab. Hotel is absolutely clean and the front desk speaks korean and japanese , surprisingly speaks to filipino guests in american slang. Will always come back.

If you are looking for the Hotel Marquis, unfortunately COVID killed them, as it did many places. The new owners have spent some money, but the atmosphere is gone. The friendly, great service is not there. The family like atmosphere is not there. The food is ok, though more expensive, they have more choices. I was disappointed to not be able to see my friends, so I am sure that colors my review. I moved to the Clarkton.

Believe me it was bliss for me that travel became very limited during this pandemic. People are, like, away. Away. So I was fished out of my comfort zone by my husband who wanted to leave our current city -- a city that worships face shields, as if face masks weren't enough to choke us in this heat. We initially booked our flights to Bohol, hotels included. But thanks to the national government's ever-expanding classification of quarantines, we had to cancel that trip. We wanted to still celebrate a week-long birthday out of town so we planned on driving to cities with little or no quarantine restrictions. First stop: Angeles City in Pampanga. Pampanga is a province not in included in the NCR bubble in May 2021. So we didn't need to get tested or quarantined when we got there. We didn't realize looking for a pet-friendly hotel would be so difficult. We found a couple, but landed in Capitol Hill Hotel and Suites. The hotel isn't really inside Clarkfield. One enters the zone from NLEX and exits one of the side gates. You'll pass through what seems to be the former red light district of the old US Military (?) zone, and you'll find Capitol Hill build just outside the residential areas alongside some of the old and new hotels. This one looks new. Squeaky clean. They have ample parking spaces in front and beside the hotel building. With a crate, a couple of bags, and 4 small dogs, were pleased to be led to a room in the second floor. We still had to take several elevator trips to and from the car. I lost count on how many times the doorman held the door for us. The two ladies at the Reception were all smiles all the time. We were handed only one key card. But in all hotels that I've stayed in, I've always made it a rule to get two key cards, in case I leave the other one in the room. The room's about 50 square meters, with a king size bed, TV, and toiletries, a huge window that overlooks where we parked the car, and a see-through bathroom with a tub. Water pressure in the sink and shower were strong. And again, squeaky clean. The toilet flushes well. The entire building has wi-fi. We were provided with enough towels. The closet had two robes, two pairs of slippers, and a safety deposit box. Venture to the rooftop and you'll find the infinity pool, bar, and restaurant. The food is pricey if you're on a budget, but they serve them fast and with utmost concern about your taste. You don't have to take the towels from your room if you want to use the pool; they provide towels for that. I recommend you have dinner at the rooftop by yourself or with a date. The evening view of Clarkfield and the Clark Airport is spectacular. One floor below the rooftop is a small gym with a treadmill, peloton, and a few weights. The next morning, I had to stay in the room to prepare our stuff for our next lap in our tour. The phone rang asking us if we wanted our breakfast in the room or the restaurant at the rooftop. It was 9:30AM already; we said we'd be havi

Since it is a cheap accommodation, you don't need to expect much.
The location is in the middle of the road toward Creatown, about 1.4km from the jeepney terminal across from Eurotel.
The staff are friendly. It's nice to be able to rest quietly.
The room is a bit spacious. These are advantages.
The downside is that the water pressure in the shower is low and there are no places to eat nearby.
To eat, you have to take a jeepney, tricycle, or Grab. Jeepneys run very frequently in both directions. And I think it's safe. As of January 24, the jeepney fare is 13 pesos.

Firstly the staff are wonderful and extremely helpful. My in-laws booked this blindly as an overnight stay en route to our destination and after arriving in the evening I almost immediately began to notice comings and goings both to and from bedrooms by older Korean/Japanese/European men with young ladies. I'm wise enough to know what was going on. Luckily all our children were enjoying the lovely pool area and were oblivious to the nature of things. Whilst the hotel staff are fantastic we think this is a one time stay only for us.

Me and my boyfriend went to Midori to celebrate his birthday. The overall experience was good. The room was really spacious and well-appointed. The staff were helpful and friendly. Their food was great (even our pastry takeouts from their bakery). We got the chance to tryout their spa as well and it was very relaxing. Their ******, though small, is well-equipped. One thing we think needs improvement is their parking. Their parking is limited and It would be quite a walk to the hotel proper. Would definitely come back though, if the time permits :)

Very Good
GGuest UserOnce you emotionally and mentally accept that you're not staying at a Hilton resort, the Queens hotel is more than adequate to fit most of your needs. Paying in cash does provide a discount, so I would recommend to take advantage of the strong dollar and pay cash. They do expect a cash payment on arrival though. A reviewer did post that towels are worn and thin. This is true. I put my towel up to the light and I could see through it. Queen's should definitely buy higher quality towels. Rooms don't have a coffee maker, only two bottles of water. I've already learned from past experience the service and food at the restaurant downstairs is very bad (at least for breakfast) so I typically walk to Phillies or Envy. The refrigerator is filled with snack bar items, but I simply tell housekeeping to remove all the items and I fill up the fridge with my own items (water, soda, beer). My room did have toiletries such as toothbrush, razor, comb etc. I did get the room with the balcony overlooking the pool so maybe all the toiletries come with a certain type of room? Staff is very friendly and will greet you with a smile and call you by name.
TTravel-exotic-PBI enjoyed my stay at Pacific Breeze Hotel and would recommended this hotel to other travellers looking for medium priced accommodation. It is situated extremely close to the popular Walking Street where there are numerous bars and clubs. It’s close to restaurants and sports bars and if that’s what you are in Angeles for then you could not be closer. You are also a short walk to the massive SM City Clark Mall, which provides much entertainment and shopping opportunities for the locals and is certainly worth a visit or two. You can also catch the shuttle bus to Manila from the mall, which is very handy. I made use of the hotel gym every day, which is on the roof of the annexed building. It’s a pretty good gym with enough equipment to keep you busy for an hour. It was mostly quiet in there and the kit is in good shape considering the price bracket of the hotel. I also swam daily in the hotel pool and this is a good size and was cleaned each morning. Great restaurant with healthy sized portions, efficient service and reasonably priced food all served by the lovely pool. There are security guards on each block and they not only did a good job looking after the rooms but it was a pleasure to have a little chat with them each day, discuss what’s happening, get travel advice and shoot the breeze. When you leave the hotel you need to hand in your key. Shoot the breeze in Pacific Breeze Hotel! All round the staff were pretty friendly which is very much expected in a country known for its friendliness. The girls on the reception desk were very professional and handled all my inquiries effectively. The one feature that ought to be pointed out is the fact that many rooms do not have a window that faces outside. So my room for instance did have a window but it looks out into the corridor of the ground floor. Now this is odd really and in the future should I ever head back to Angeles City I would happily stay at this hotel again but would request a window facing the outside. I need sunlight, a view, a peek at the weather and having the curtain always drawn felt odd. But all round this is a great hotel. It has a certain energy and character about it that I suppose may be brought about by its location to walking street. One cannot ignore the fact that many guests may be in that area to enjoy the delights of Walking Street and all it has to offer. This does not put me off but adds to the entertainment and character of this hotel. I will stay again if I ever find myself back in the city.
GGuest UserStayed at the beginning of May 2023 after the end of Corona. We had a problem with the PentHouse Hotel we were staying at earlier (see another review), so we abandoned our reservation and moved to this nearby hotel. Agoda reservation, less than 5kJPY. The location is the strongest. Just a little bit from the middle of WS. The room is spacious because it is second only to the suite. However, rather than being spacious, it feels like it's really wide, and the space isn't being used effectively. ☆☆☆, so it might be something like that. The lighting is a little weak, as other reviewers have said. However, even hotels with more stars in Vietnam have weaknesses, so it may be a Southeast Asian thing. wifi is ok. I didn't feel stressed for too long, but sometimes it cuts off abruptly. But it will recover soon. NHK is good for those who are in an environment where they cannot watch Japanese TV. There are two convenience stores in the vicinity that are extensions of Yorozuya. One is open very late. No JF, which is normal here, but there was no ID check either. It may be about here and Red Planet where you can enter the room without passing through. On the other hand, people who enter are constantly watched by women such as aunts, so it is relatively safer than the previous hotel. There is a safe. Only one point, the reason why it couldn't be ☆☆☆☆. The water pipe is old, and the water that comes out has a very iron smell. Faucet and shower. It may cost a lot of money, but I want you to improve this point as soon as possible. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try the adjacent restaurant. However, it was crowded every night with Westerners who were picky about taste and cost, so it was probably delicious. I want to try it next time.
GGuest UserThank you for making my stay at Surestay Clarview a memorable one. I enjoyed your hospitality and your delicious Kare-kare. The room was spacious, clean and well-lit. The wifi was fast and reliable, which was important for my online meetings. I appreciated the polite and helpful staff at the hotel. Shout out to Jen and Gilbert. However, there were some areas that could be improved. For example, some of the employees were too loud while on duty, which disturbed my peace and quiet. Also, the service at the restaurant was kinda slow and I had to call someone twice to get their attention. Finally, I had a hard time reaching the reception by phone when I needed some bath soap. I had to go down to the lobby and found two personnel who said they didn't receive any call. Overall, I still had a lovely stay at your hotel and I would recommend it to others. As a former hotelier, I know how hard it is to run a hotel and I appreciate your efforts. I hope you will take my feedback as constructive criticism and work on improving your service. See you soon!
GGuest UserThe location is accessible to main road, bars, yet the place is quiet and safe. We got the two-bedroom suite and the rooms are big complete living room, kitchen with so pots and pans and bar counter. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and clean. There is no elevator though and we were at the third floor. Not so senior or PWD friendly. Upon entering the room, it smelled like food but after turning the AC on, the smell subsided eventually. The place is good for more than a week stay. It’s like living in an apartment or condo already. The staff are friendly and there is a small but clean swimming pool. There’s also a mini marketplace where you can buy cup noodles, drinks, snacks and toiletries. The place is quite new so everything looks clean. All in all, we will definitely return and recommend this to our friends.
AAnn CStarting with the Manager, and the front desk, the rest of the staff, they're all great, friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I apologize for having posted a review late, but I still want to get it out there that this place is amazing. I really enjoyed my time here. I stayed for about 3 weeks, and enjoyed ever day I spent there. I can't complain. Excellent service by everyone. Thank you all for the hospitality.
TTom HBooked the hotel via Hotels.com 8 days of relaxing. Nice pictures on the website, so was really looking forward to the stay. Omg, i dont know when thoose pictures where taken, but i dont beleave it was from this century. The room was excactly like a prisoncell, green emty walls, no balcony or terrace, just the room with highly placed windows. The pool located in the centre of the prisonyard, sorry hotelyard was in desperate need of water and the area around it looked like a wilderness of leaves. 8 days in this place was more than i could stand for, but lucky for me, Hotels.com cancelled my remaining booking, a thing they was not obligated to do, so thanks to them. It was not all bad. The staff was extremely friendly and did what ever they could to make me happy, sorry to say this was an impossible task, but they really tried. Ofcourse i had to take a taxi to center, since this hotel i placed in the middle of nothing.
It’s a brave person who stays at Kokomos Hotel on the famous Angeles Walking Street. I knew when I booked this hotel that I was in for a very different experience. This popular hotel is known for being a wonderful place to sit and watch the ever-entertaining street life go by. The front bar and restaurant is a hot spot for people to hang out and simply enjoy people watching. Its known for its extensive western and Asian menu and its prime position on Walking Street. This is all well and good but actually staying there for a few nights is a whole different experience. The hotel wins on its location of course and that is if you desire to be located right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of nightlife. This is not for everyone and by booking here you need to be prepared for the following. That is being prepared for little sleep essentially. The hotel is not only right on Walking Street but has a bar attached to it. This bar is open 24 hours and plays loud music. Now the combination of the noise from the bar that is part of the hotel and the street life will have an impact on your experience. For me it was too much and I simply didn’t sleep. If you book I would strongly recommend the rooms at the back of the hotel by the small pool. These rooms are set slightly back and will perhaps offer some rest. But you are still on Walking Street and reducing the noise set back just a few meters is unlikely. The staff were very friendly and full of the famous Philippine charm and I was looked after regards any needs and questions. The rooms have a certain charm and be prepared that some rooms do not have windows. Being part of Walking Street the hotel décor is in line with the nightlife entertainment. Essentially expect images of beautiful women on the walls and in some rooms even a pole dancing stage. This is all fine if you are comfortable with this. For the price of the rooms I feel the service and quality of rooms is actually well aligned. It’s cheap and there is a charm in the whole location, ambience and design of the hotel. I do like this hotel, but more from a curiosity perspective and fascination even. I will continue to eat and drink at the Kokomos restaurant but I would not book to sleep there again.
GGuest UserThere is no breakfast, there is a small swimming pool, the location is a certain distance from the pedestrian street, but not far away, it is too noisy to live in the pedestrian street, the suites are actually opened up two downstairs and downstairs, it is good !!
