Location: The hotel is situated in a serene suburban area with a natural surroundings, providing a peaceful retreat. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere away from busy streets, although it requires over an hour to get to the city center.

When I go to the room and turned the water on, it was brown. Water in the sink was brown and the water in the toilet was brown. When I called the front desk about it, they told me that the entire hotel was impacted due to the city water supply and that I should just let the water run for a while for it to become clear. So I ran the water for about 30 minutes, but that did not improve things. Because I did not know what was wrong with the water exactly, I did not shower or brush teeth with the water. (The front desk told me to use bottled water for brushing teeth.) I could not trust the cooking water so I did not eat the breakfast I paid for the next morning. When I asked the front desk in the morning why I was not given a warning and an explanation when I checked in when the hotel knew about this problem, I was just told that this was not a hotel problem but a city problem. But it is a hotel problem because hotel guests are impacted, and if there is nothing the hotel can do about it, the least they can do is warn their guests about it. The staff told me that this was a recurring problem with the water. If it is a recurring problem, why not explain why it is happening, whether it is or is not safe to use the water, and how to deal with it? Instead all I got was the attitude that this was not the hotel's problem. When I said that I was not offered anything because of the problem and was just told to run the water, he just said, "I was not here, and I have not worked here that long." So, brown water, lack of prior warning and instruction about the water condition by the staff, lack of remedy, and indifferent customer service by the front desk.
