Our experience wasn't really up to par I am sorry to say. We arrived around 5:30 p.m. and were told by the man at the front desk that our room still wasn't ready because housekeeping wasn't finished cleaning it up. So despite arriving well after check-in time we had to wait in the lobby with all our luggage for close to a half an hour. Second, we were unable to get foam rubber pillows and was told that Marriott does not stock them, so we had a get a relative who lives locally to purchase us two. Third, when I went to scope out where we could print our boarding passes, I was told by the front desk person that the printer cartidge was empty, so nothing would print. The person said I would be able to have the person at the desk print it for us 24 hours before we left. When that day came, the person was not familiar on how to do that, but luckily I am and was able to guide her through the process. Fourth, despite listing the hours that dinner is served, we found that the dining area was empty with no attendant and the kitchen was dark. The person at the front desk said the attendant had to leave due to a personal issue. That's fine, but why no backup employee to cover that position? Just like with the "no toner cartride," why wasn't someone dispatched to Staples or Office Depot to buy one? Or, why not keep a spare in stock to avoid something like that? It is a nice looking building and it appears to be kept clean. But I would say it needs a stricter manager to make sure the "i's" are dotted and the "t's" are crossed because it is the little things that can really make difference between mediocre and excellent.
