The staff at the breakfast were great. Very friendly and helpful plus the food was delicious. The remodeled rooms are modern and very nice. We travel here to visit Clemson and this hotel is a great place to stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast was above and beyond what we expected. Eve was super helpful and ensured we had a clean space to prepare our meal and eat and everything we needed to fully enjoy our breakfast. Julia and Didi prepared a delicious meal where especially the potatoes stood out. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Not happy
There were cigarettes butts in the room we ask for the room to be clean we got back to the room late went right to sleep woke up seen blood on the sheets and comforter

I would have expected for the room rate that it should have included breakfast. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Nice decor and bath products; friendly and helpful staff. Would have like to have access to filtered water stations and complimentary coffee/tea in lobby w/o purchasing breakfast. In-room Keurig was not clean and very dusty.

Great hotel. Convenient location.
This is a lovely property that is convenient to everything in Anderson. We liked being away from the interstate and closer to downtown. We will stay here again.

I don't want to reiview the property. I want to say how wonderful Shanique was. She cleaned our room the first couple days and did a wonderful job.

Nice place, but missing in the little things
I was very disappointed that the $15 breakfast that was offered was the same breakfast that you get for free at other hotels. I had a hard time not having complimentary coffee, the only coffee that was available was the pods in the room OR a "Starbucks" machine that was $4.50. The pods, if you stayed for more than one night, you had to get from the front desk as housekeeping didn't refill them. The rooms were quite nice, as they should be after a remodel, but there was no place to put your clothes. We had a very small closet that could fit maybe 5 items to hang and no other drawers or shelves to put your clothes - when you stay for close to a week, it's nice to not have to open your suitcase to get out your clothes.
I expected more from a Holiday Inn - it's all in the little details that make a great stay, this one was mediocre.
