After the sunny hustle and bustle of Platanias arriving in Anatoli was like dipping in cool water after a hot day. The silence broken only by the sound of swallows and buzzing bees, the vastness of starry sky after the sunset. Smaragda house is like a small gem, beautifully restored, excellently suited for a couple. In the kitchen there's everything you need to cook and the bedroom is cool and quiet. And there's much to see and do in and around Anatoli village, whether you like outdoor activities or cultural and historical sights. We were taken by the warm and welcoming people of the village and of course the heartwarming kindness of Ioanna herself. We will be coming back next October and this time enjoying a longer period of the peace and silence, as well as the mountain paths and the gorges in the vicinity. Can hardly wait!

Wir waren Mitte Juni zwei Wochen im fantastischen Haus Pasiphea. Es liegt idyllisch im kleinen Bergdorf Anatoli, 600 Meter über dem Meer mit traumhaften Blick von mehreren Dachterrassen aufs Meer und Ierapetra. Luft und Klima sind hier oben angenehm, auch wenn es „unten“ heiß“ ist. Das Haus ist ein komplett renoviertes altes Dorfhaus mit allem Komfort, 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder, 2 Wohnzimmer und Küche. Die dicken Mauern lassen die Hitze draußen und die Ausstattung lässt nichts vermissen, von der Waschmaschine bis zur perfekt ausgestatteten Küche. Alles ist sauber und funktional. Ein Traum ist der große Jacuzzi mit Blick aufs Meer. Ioanna ist die perfekte Gastgeberin, auch wenn sie nicht vor Ort ist. Alles ist perfekt organisiert, vor Ort kümmert sich die liebe Koula um alles. Das Haus wird regelmäßig gesäubert und die Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Man kann im Ort schnell Kontakte knüpfen, die Bewohner sind sehr offen und nett. Essen kann man in einer kleinen Taverne im Ort, zu empfehlen ist die Taverne Panorama ein Dorf weiter in Kalamafka. Der schöne Strand von Myrtos ist in 30 Minuten erreichbar, schöner kleiner Ort mit guter Infrastruktur und Individualtourismus. Ein Mietwagen ist erforderlich um die wahnsinnig schöne Umgebung zu erkunden und einzukaufen. Es gibt viel zu erkunden im Osten Kretas, Schluchten, kulturelle Stätten und traumhaft schöne Strände! Erholung pur, wir kommen gerne wieder!!!!
