Located on the top of a mountain, 1.5 hours' drive from Kathmandu, the hotel has a beautiful and quiet environment, good service, games and sports, sauna and spa, morning yoga, and hiking. The natural scenery is beautiful and unique. However, the mountain road leading to the hotel is in poor condition, and traffic jams occur from time to time. I heard that a new road is being built. If the road is repaired, it is estimated that the drive from Kathmandu will be one hour.

Best location with view, free yoga, jacuzzi,steam and sauna For the price, room was disappointing and so was the service (slow and unresponsive) Better staffs maybe Response for foreigners and local was clearly divided, so better response for local is vital!

Beautiful rooms with huge balconies overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. High thread count sheets and padded mattresses for a very comfortable sleep. Very friendly and efficient staff. Heated pool, which is unique in Nepal, with a hot tub. Unforgettable experience with Chef Deepak Mishra at the Local Kitchen, where he prepares and teaches local Nepalese dishes in a traditional clay oven. Thank you Chef and Suman for this very friendly and unique experience, which I'd recommend to all the guests to partake in at the resort.

It is the most beautiful hotel in Kathmandu, very nice view to Katmandu from the top, very quiet and beautiful area, rooms are modern and comfortable. delicious food in the restaurant. Clean heated pool, great spa. It was nice to meditate on the great open terrace in silence.

Beautiful property. Excellent service. Special mention for Mr.Alok and the head chef who looked after our every need before we could say it. My son loved the pool and the hot jacuzzi. Beautiful hike to the Kiwi farm. The food was excellent too. Will definitely come again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting g Kathmandu.

Amazing stay with the Terraces! It’s a secluded area up in the mountain where you can find tranquility outside Kathmandu. The road is still underdeveloped- hopefully it will get fixed soon- but it doesn’t take away the beauty of this place. They have lots of activities set for the guests; yoga, ATV, sunset cocktails :) You don’t really need to go out of this heaven, to be honest. Thank you to Praban who has been sooooooo helpful throughout our stay, and with his excellent service, our experience here is more than we can imagine! The food is fantastic, the chef did amazing job, thank you!! Everyone’s level of service and friendliness is the top tier, and they have set the highest standard❤️ I’m looking forward to our next visit!

Unique Resort, warm friendly sincere staff, gourmet meals certainly a connoisseurs delight. Many thanks to all staff and special thanks to Chef Deepak who took time to explain dishes and keen to cater for all requests. Also many thanks to Paban, Binod and Alok who continually helped us with everything and made us feel very special. A holiday which we will always remember. This Resort is highly recommended.

Excellent ambience and Excellent input on tourist activities by the reception staff and excellent reciprocal views by the Chef - Deepak and excellent personal care of my family taken by Mr Suman Acharya who was absolutely fabulous at every day of our stay taking of us personally at the hotel during break fast and lunch and dinner …..kudos to him and his team . Our stay was timed to have one night of luxury after a couple of weeks in Nepal and Bhutan. The hotel was much more expensive than any of the other 4 star accommodation we had experienced in the previous days, yet was a real letdown. The resort is in a scenic location, but the road to get there is in very poor condition and the requested drivers to and from the resort use vehicles that make the rough road feel even worse. The resort provided a driver to take us down the hill whose driving skills were simply dangerous. The resort is in a tired condition and could do with serious renovation and maintenance, not the luxury surrounds that the website who have you believe. The staff were friendly and do their best, the head chef was very accommodating. Sadly though, this resort needs to do some serious work before we would consider recommending it.
