Friendly welcome & good advice on local restaurants for tasty meals. My room was cozy enough with good climate control. & I felt safe walking around the marina after dinner. This is not the fanciest or newest hotel but if you want a peaceful night in a good, walkable location, this worked well for me.

We checked in to a curt front desk receptionist. The next day our door lock was broken. As the office was closed at 9:45 am we were given a temporary key. We were away all day for a big event. At 9:30 pm we received a call from a yelling manager insisting we return immediately with temporary key. Everyone at our otherwise quiet dinner could hear her. We returned to being locked out of our room. Police were called. We were only allowed back in to our belongings and paid for room once we apologized?!? For poor management, broken locks, criminal egos? We are not sure but will not be going back. Reviews about an older property, hard pillows and noisy refrigerators are accurate. What a shame as it has changed hands and was well liked before the new management.
