Booked a double room, but got a triple room instead. A nice, clean and spacious room. The water pressure in the shower was very good and the water was hot. Room temperature was perfect even though it was cold outside. A short walk from Leidscheplein and the tram stations (you can use your contactless credit card on the tram to check-in, don't forget to check out) connecting you to the good spots. Good value for the price, would certainly consider this hotel again on my next visit to Amsterdam.
My only concern was when I checked in they asked me for my email-address. They're allowed to ask of course, but when I told them I don't give out my email they said it was hotel policy and it was required for check in. But he was willing to make an exception for me immediately, so I didn't have to argue about it.
The shower in the bathroom has a fast and flushing effect. The location is relatively good. There is a supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient for buying milk, fruit and water. It is very convenient to take a bus to the city center, and it is also acceptable to walk. The air conditioning temperature in the room is very comfortable. In short, it is a pleasant experience!
The hotel we had included breakfast was very clean and quiet. It was great, everything was fresh and delicious. Transportation tram and walking can be easily provided everywhere. Thanks to all staff.

Decent and clean; although hotel a bit older. There is elevator and stairs. The breakfast selection is great!!! Within walking distance to tram and bus station (Leidseplein); convenient to commute to and from the Schipol Airport and Amsterdam Centraal station. Within walking distance to Rijksmuseum, Moco Museum and Stedelijk Museum. Likely to recommend for future trips.
Great location and service. Room space was a bit tight and there was some knocking sounds. I woke up every 2 hours. Idk if someone was knocking on the pipes so that it won’t freeze up or someone was working on them on the other side. It was extremely annoying. Other than that it’s a good location.
Fantastic hotel.
Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean and really helpful and efficient staff.
The rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped.
Breakfast is very good and very relaxed.
The hotel is a modern design classic.
Next to the de hallen food hall and shopping and media centre the location is perfect.
The tram is approximately 5 minutes away and only 3 stops from Leidseplein.
Overall, it was a wonderful choice and brilliant base for any trip to Amsterdam.
The location is fantastic! 2min walk from tram 1 station and 5min walk from tram 2/12 station. Extremely accessible.
The room is clean and with basic equipment — shampoo, kettle, hair dryer.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out process is smooth and swift.
Affordable price with quality beyond expectations. Love it!
Really liked the location. Right next to a beautiful park and so many cafes and restaurants in the local neighbourhood.
Walking distance to the museum area and all public transporation was available nearby.
The room was simple. No fancy views or whatever but very comfortable. The receptionists were welcoming too.
Would love to go back for my next trip to Amsterdam
Stayed here for one night in the single room . Great view of the canal from the window . Free mini bar with soft fizzy drinks and a Kit Kat was a nice touch even though the fridge didn’t work . The Ritual toiletries in the room were really nice .
First hot drink in the room was free thereafter it was 25.Cents per drink .
The communal areas could do with being updated and the grouting and seal on the shower cubicle could do with being replaced. Although there is a lift in the hotel , The steps to the hotel were very steep . Anyone with a wheelchair or has mobility issues with steep steps should not consider this hotel . I had a large suitcase and the receptionist went out of his way to carry my suitcase up the steps , I cannot fault the staff at this hotel . They go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as they can . So helpful and friendly .
Location is close enough to city centre to enjoy attractions in the Museum Quarter, Anne Frank Haus vicinity & the eating places of Jordaan on foot. Be prepared for a typical Amsterdam narrow house with small rooms and steep staircases, otherwise very clean. Considering prices of all hotels In Amsterdam, this covers all our needs.

Great
GGuest UserThe room is very stylish, with many thoughtful little designs! All facilities are new and clean. The bathroom is a single cubicle, and each cubicle includes a place to take a shower and change clothes. It is very quiet at night, and the soundproofing is also very good. The location of the hotel is very convenient, and the front desk staff is also very considerate and nice, and can store luggage for free. I will stay in the city hub series of hotels indefinitely, it is really a fan!
GGuest UserIncredible building And room with great space And feel. I wasnt very well one the last day of my stay And the Male receptionist was a legend giving me tea And advice how to get better. Felt like a friend at the desk, was a great vibe.
Only downside is the Wifi would come And go as they only have 1000 IP address's so sometimes it drops out after a couple hours.
Would defo stay there again, great value for money when i went
SShounakWe had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Abba. The location is super convenient — centrally located with a tram stop just around the corner, making it easy to get to the airport in about 30 minutes. It’s also within walking distance to key spots in Amsterdam, which made exploring the city a breeze.
A special shoutout to the manager, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He made sure we had everything we needed and generously provided as many amenities as possible to make us feel at home.
The breakfast was a real highlight — fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day. Lots of variety and definitely one of the better hotel breakfasts we’ve had on our trip.
All in all, great value for money, lovely service, and a fantastic location. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam!
TTrenti MatteoThe location is good, easy to reach by taxi or tram, walking distance to Jordaan but the neighbourhood is not touristic, it’s a local neighbourhood with nice bars and restaurants, and charming canals to the west. Walking distance to the food hallen and vondelpark. The room was on the ground floor facing an inner garden, very quiet
AAnonymous UserEverything was very good, also the girl from the reception was cute and nice with us. We stayed at 3'rd floor, the room was small but clean. Something strange was the guaranty amount i needed to pay at the reception, but i think about it and I understood it.
AAlenaThe room was small but cozy, perfect for a few nights. The location was fantastic, with bike rentals and a park nearby. The bed and pillows were very comfortable; we slept like babies. We loved everything.
LLizzi BrownThe hostel is in a good location out of the centre, it's an easy tram ride in to Centraal with very frequent trams.
You get what you pay for, it's cheap and cheerful but very good value for budget accomodation just a short trip from Amsterdam city centre.
The beds were very comfortable, the room was larger than expected and very airy as we were in an attic room and all the windows opened.
The stairs were a bit treacherous, very steep and winding but a nice feature of an old traditional building.
The showers and facilities were fine, kept clean by other travellers and staff and the kitchen was fine too.
I would definitely stay here again for cheap, reasonable accommodation.
