Prachtige woonboot op een top locatie in Amsterdam. Wat waren wij blij verrast toen we hier voor de eerste keer aan kwamen. Een prachtige woonboot schuin tegenover het Amstel hotel. Makkelijk bereikbaar met het OV en centraal gelegen. De boot is voorzien van een moderne "touch". Een lichte en gezellige sfeer. Ook op de buitenplaats is t heerlijk genieten van de Amsterdamse gezelligheid en t uitzicht. Naast de boot ligt een leuk cafe/restaurant aan t water. De hottub was een groot succes!! Voor ons was t meteen duidelijk dat we hier vaker naar toe zouden gaan. Komende zomer wordt t onze 3e keer, en zeker niet de laatste! De eigenaar is bijzonder vriendelijk en prettig in t contact!! Hij heeft ons enorm verrast en we willen hem bedanken voor zijn gastvrijheid!!

This is a review for Houseboat next to Amstel (as mentioned in this listing for its sister boat Houseboat Little Amstel). The location is 15 minutes to just about everything with great non-touristy restaurants, bakeries, and a grocery just around the corner. Amstel Hotel is just across the bridge and has a lovely high tea. The massage bed was a bonus! Very spacious and comfortable, even in the dead of winter we were warm once we understood the excellent heating system. The bathroom is spacious and the shower was roomy with lots of hot water. Big central closet in the hallway with lots of shelves and two hanging areas, which helped keep the rooms tidy. Lots of windows and light with very effective blackout blinds. Two TVs to keep the family happy on a rainy day. Very clean and I believe it was recently painted. The kitchen has a small set of dishes, set of silverware, a few glasses, microwave oven, and spacious clean refrigerator. Having stayed on boats before, this one was quieter and stiller than most, as long as you are not a light sleeper you will have an excellent night's rest. The outdoor decks are amazing and furnished well, and I bet they are beautiful in the spring as there are plants everywhere (we were there over New Years). It was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens and could even hold an additional 2 people for an additional fee by using a murphy bed in the main living room. Don't hesitate to visit Amsterdam in the winter, bundle up and enjoy the city's light festival and other holiday festivities and know you'll have a cozy place to go home to every night!

The experience of sitting out on the patio at night with a beautiful view of the canal was lovely but we don't believe that the cost of the room - $320.00 CAD - was worth it.

Beautiful setting, great transport options, very unique propoerty, didnt use the hot tub as weather was not our favour ..decking gets slippy. Bed was so comfy and the coffee selection was brill. Only 4 min walk to trams to centre. Will definitely be coming back!

I enjoyed my stay here very much. It's unlike everything else I experienced traveling. Room is very cozy, there's great view and the host is very nice, accomodating, easily reachable in case of any problem and will help you with anything you need.

Beautiful stay in Dam
Lovely stay on LittleAmstel, would highly recommend to any couple wanting to stay for a few days in Amsterdam. Great location and well appointed unit of accommodation.
